What was this tension in the air? Yeom Tae felt like he walked into another World War or something. He gulped, looking at both the women looking at each other.
"Great timing!" Haewon exclaimed, "Yeom Tae, come here." She called him.
"What are you even doing here?" Yeom Tae asked as he walked closer to the women.
He stood beside Haneul, facing her mother. This should've already been enough to give Haewon a hint that Yeom Tae would only take his wife's side no matter what.
"Tae-ah," Haewon called him with love, as much as she could possibly squeeze out of herself. And it obviously looked like a ruse. "You didn't leave us of your own will, right?" She asked. "Everyone's going crazy. Tell me you didn't leave of your own will." She almost asserted it on him.
"Who is going crazy?" Yeom Tae scoffed as he asked, "Had anyone gone crazy, you wouldn't have shown up alone." He said, "Just tell me Abeoji gave up on me."
