56. Brother (part 2)

There was complete silence inside the room. As Abraham was talking, Albus was getting more and more of an idea of whose story the man was recounting. In the end, when the man called him brother, Albus felt like everything was finally coming to place. Yet it was hard to believe such a claim.

How could his 13 years old brother look like that.

He wanted to say something, anything yet he felt his throat dry, unable to voice out a single word. On the side, Ginny was stunned. It has been three years since they have been trying to find Abraham yet there was not a single clue.

But now, the man inside their apartment was claiming to be the said person.

Abraham was expecting such a reaction from them. After all, how could someone easily believe such a possibility.

"One time when Aunt Jane was taking care of me, you had destroyed father's favorite mug by mistake. You were so scared that you cried to Aunt Jane to put the blame on me. Thus father was not angry when he heard that I was the one that broke it."

"One time, when you went out to play with also children, you got hurt on the feet, and father had to spend a basic crystal in exchange for an ability-user to heal you."

While speaking, Abraham could see the change in the eyes of Albus. Just as he was about to recount another event, he heard Albus speaking.

"Are you really my little brother Abraham?" tears started flowing from Albus's eyes.

"What more proof do you want Albus Dumbledore?"

The last statement was all that was really needed to convince Albus. During his childhood, Abraham would call him the nickname Dumbledore saying that it was the name of a very old person.

In the next instance, Albus was directly in front of Abraham giving him a firm hug.

"Where have you been the whole time? You know how much I was worried. Why couldn't you have at least sent a message? We kept searching not knowing whether you were alive or not."

Abraham understood the pain his brother Albus had to go through.

Albus cried non-stop until a knock was heard on the door. It was a single knock and after that, there was complete silence. Albus quickly ran to the door and opened it to find his friend in the corridor. Albus had put a backup safety plan with his friend when he first brought Abraham inside. His friend was supposed to knock on the door after five minutes to see if everything was alright. In case Albus would not respond, his friend had to contact the military.

Looking at Ginny, Abraham found that she also had tears running down her cheek but there was also a smile on her face.

While waiting for Albus to return, Abraham activated the dragon's vision again to see the people outside the apartment. He found the same aura that was following him previously just behind the door.

But just like last time, Abraham noticed the purple aura located near the top of Albus's yellow aura. Moreover, unlike its previous docile state, the purple aura looked like it has activated whatever command it was supposed to execute.

"If the Influence skill is activated now, then there can only be one meaning. It is related to me." Abraham was reviewing all the events from the canon and his life in this one to find a clue.

Due to his coming into this world, every little action that he took, even though they may look little, could cause a great change in the timeline. There was one thing Abraham understood, no matter how much he wanted, there was no way to keep everything that happened in the canon intact.

That was why he was going to pave his own way. But of course, there would be certain things Abraham has decided to try keeping it the same way as in the canon.

Albus explained to his friend that everything was alright and told him there was no need for him to check again. After closing the door, he came and sat down on the sofa. Next, he gestured for Abraham to come and sit by his side.

"Ginny, today is a day of celebration. My brother is finally home. Tonight we will be preparing the best food that we have and together we will have a family dinner."

The atmosphere was joyful. Both of them were chatting and talking about the past.

Abraham was listening to the life of his brother during his military training and how he came close to Ginny. They were close friends when they first started the training but after the death of Dracul, Albus was always in a very down mood. During that time, it was Ginny that would continue to boost his morale and stay with him. Such moments bought them together and when later they found that both of them were being sent to the same planet to fight beasts, Albus decided to propose to Ginny and consolidated their relationship.

After continuous fights on the planet Tellus, it became a green planet. As Albus and Ginny were present in many fights, they were rewarded with an apartment. They now form part of the main force of planet Tellus where they had to travel once per month to reduce the population of beasts.

Both of them had been given a level 3 earth ability by the military.

Then it was Abraham's turn to narrate his journey till now. Of course, there were many parts that Abraham omitted like the killing of the gang members or the use of Qi drain. For the event in the lesser district, he just told them about helping a young boy and how a gang war happened.

While talking about the events, Abraham could not help but wonder how Pele was doing. He needed to find some time to search for him as Abraham wanted to ask him a favor.

Abraham poured him heart content while explaining how he came to be here. His meeting with the Green, how he went on a red planet and spent months alone fighting beasts and sleeping in the forest.

While Abraham was recounting the event of the illusion made by the Aranea beasts, he could see the pain in Albus's eyes.

Lastly, Abraham told them about his fight against the dalki and how he infiltrated the dalki settlement. Both Albus and Ginny had a look of fear on their faces. Suddenly Albus burst into anger.

"Why are you doing this? You know how risky all those things you did were. Why can't you just fight like everybody and leave all the scary stuff to the world leaders?"

"Father told me about the family book. How it holds a strange power and may be due to how you continued to read and seek information, father was sure that one day you were going to open it. But as you can tell, he never said to you that the book holds an ability. He always wanted you to live an ordinary life, away from all danger."
