Ok I was just playing genshin yesterday since it's been like a year and I was reading character stories, fucking turns out Yanfei is the average Wattpad writer, aka she has main character syndrome lol
should really get to reading more character profiles
Would probably help my story considering I almost made Xiao a Sasuke equivalent before reading he respects authority, but consider the fact Traveler is like 2000+ years old, I mean Xiao didnt know at the time but still
I mean it's fair considering most adeptus have this stigma against humans but I digress Im done ranting for now I present your story

The adeptus are stunned, shocked at the audacity of this random human to casually say they are near death, Ganyu and Yanfei on the other hand just appear unaffected as if expecting something similar to happen
Before everyone freaked out however Xiao spoke up " Hu Tao do you know the location of Zhongli? " this grabs the attention of the active girl as a cat like expression appears on her face
" ooof courrrrse I know his location he is currently busy playing a game he called shogi I think against Madam Ping, she actually accepted my discount today surprisingly "
The Hu Tao makes a gesture for them to follow her as she walks around the puddle created bending over and grabbing the bucket as it drips slowly from the water still lingering
The adeptus walk past as they approach a small Red curtain which Hu Tao unceremoniously walks on through " Consultant someone's asking for you! " She then walks out
Behind the curtain a tall figure approaches his steps making a rhythmic beat as he pushes away the curtain revealing his orange irises with brown shading reminiscent of his clothes as he looks onward across the group peering through them as he speaks
" I assume this is a rather private conversation come along everyone, Hu Tao I'll l handle the rest." she nods and disappears within seconds likely bothering someone else
The adepti follow close behind as they see a row of chairs and a table with Madam Ping looking surprised at them " Everyone it had been too long! How have you been"
Everyone starts to sit down as Mountain shaper speaks " We have been doing well, however we should skip the pleasantries we have more important things to discuss "
As he sits down Shenhe gently lays kymani down on a chair before sitting beside him as Yanfei took the seat to his left " I wouldn't be wrong to assume this meeting is because of this boy correct? "
Zhongli says as he focuses in on my Unconscious body " You wouldn't seek my help unless something drastic has happened so what is it?"
[Meanwhile in the Velvet Room]
" DRAW TILL YOU GET A TEAL LUCIFER " I say as I put down the bluish colored card as Lucifer stares blankly at his 24 cards as he sighs and puts them down
" I don't particularly enjoy uno flip, why don't we play train? " he questions as I look across the table to see igor, Justine, and Caroline shaking their heads
" Whelp sorry rules are rules now draw " Lucifer simply shakes his head as he continually pulls cards as he questions me "aren't you going to leave the velvet room soon it's almost been a day since your little incident"
I wave him off however as he reached 30 cards " It'll be fine just giving them some time to process what happened and me time to formulate an answer, what's the worse that can happen "
Kaguya looks bored with her 2 cards with her fist bawled into her cheek as she sits with her legs crossed " top 10 greatest words before disaster "
I look with a salty expression as I say " WHY WHY WOULD YOU CALL MY FLA-"

" -And that's when we got the idea that perhaps this was outside of our range so we proceeded to look for Xiao to find out your location "
As finnally Ganyu finishes explaining exhaling a deep breath from talking for 5 minutes in a row as Rex Lapis looks troubled at the young god unconscious in front of him
" Well I can certainly tell why you all went through this effort though I am confused why I wasn't invited to or at least informed about this 'Lucifer' "
Cloud Retainer looks directly Morax as she says " It was to my information he couldn't directly harm anyone without my student allowing him, I didn't account for his skills of manipulation, it seems he can actively make his words more trusting, very naturally and I didn't realize it until it was too late. "
Morax looks solemn as he looks at her " it's quite alright old friend even today I make mistakes, what's more important is figuring out what to do now "
[mc PoV]
".....fucker" the room grows silent as the main event starts to groggily rub their eyes " Asshole decided to end the game fucking looser if your mad you drew the whole deck just say that"
With my eyes closed I start to stretch unaware of my surroundings " Lazy aah demon biach, had to sneak me in the head because he knew what I would d- "
As I finnally open my I look around to see some familiar faces as It clicks to me and I did the only thing I knew I could do " Joestar secret technique... " I say standing looking at the confused but weary adepti as a Mihawk copy looks ready to jump at any moment
" NIGERUNDAYO " I yell as I high tail the fuck out there gaining some distance as a cought them off guard as I immediately make a board of pride I hop on immediately soaring into the sky destroying part of the ceiling as I hear wings flaps following behind me, not losing ground though I enhance the boards speed with wind as I blast through the sky

Hearing a screaming sharp female voice I turn my head to see a girl in a jiangshi uniform holding tight on to me for what I assume survival
I wasn't very sure though considering not once in this whole scenario did she consider to ask me to let her go 'wait did she just ask me to prepare for dea-' my thoughts aren't given time to process as above me I see a orange symmetrical bolder falling down towards me
It was falling down rapidly but I barely managed to dodge it, barely scaping at my hair as I look behind me to see Cloud Retainer, and Mountain Carver hot on my tail
' Jimminy Fucking Crickets ' I think as I focus for a second and create on my board 2 Gigantic 5 meter long wings that I use Blowing off my 2 chasers
The last thing I can hear before the wings blow is the loud voice of my master scream my name as the winds take me away from this situation
I continue my current speed for a few minutes before slowly going downwards decelerating stopping at a massive tree house as I land on a bridge
" Well that was a fucking shit show " I think as I turn around to see the girl standing off my board as I look nearby her shocked at the tall man nearby me
" Yes as it would appear this does seem to be a problem, would you like to discuss this situation rationally or will this encounter turn hostile " The lanky stick aah man said to me
so clearly in a bid of dominance I attempted to try and run on my board again but I was swiftly grabbed by a rock hand that didn't really leave much wiggle room
"hmm ok so upon further consideration I may as well try to explain whatever it is ya want from me" I say clearly in discomfort about this situation as Mr. Slendy man walks up to me
"First introductions, I am Morax, you may know me as Rex Lapis. It is to my knowledge you recently lost control of your body to karma correct?" He says as he stops 2 feet in front of me
" Right and dandy captain lanky " I say still wiggling around trying to find a somewhat comfortable position as Morax calmly continues
" Have you learned why you lost control, and can it be taken care of? " He says calmly once more as I see a slightly dangerous glint in his eyes as I nod ferociously

" yeah I do have a method of not becoming an absolute maniac, now if I could just move-" I'm then gently placed down on the ground as Zhongli sips from what I assume is a tea cup
" Osmanthus Wi-" he is then stopped however as a speeding object accelerates exaggeratedly to our location as Zhongli looks minorly annoyed sipping his tea
I immediately create a barrier that is immediately broken as I'm slapped in the face by feathers as I'm thrown for a few feet before stopping as I hear a noise before being risen by air and shoved into a hug by Cloud Retainer
I didn't know how to react at first However any further action was stopped as the hug loosens as she grabs both my arms " Tell me what's troubling you " I sigh resigning to the fact I'm not escaping this as I start to explain
[ Flashback in a damn Flashback ]
The sky is shining orange as the sun shines brightly as we turn to a window slowly approaching a figure of a student sleeping on a desk is seen
" when I a kid still sleeping in middle school, pretty much halfway through my education i realized something. Everything I've experienced is getting repetitive. Everything I play online everytime I play alone there was nothing new I was simply put stuck."
The figure is then alerted to a noise nearby them as they slightly lift up their ears as words fill up their ears, they then fully lift up their head as they look to a group of 3
" Then I met them, pretty much my best friends no shade thrown of course. They were just talking ignorant of everyone nearby them speaking that uhh stuff. They always had interesting topic and ideas as I noticed over the past few days. I wanted to be apart of that, so ignoring all the fears of ignorance I had I approached them fearless and that was the best choice I ever made. "
" Then well we did everything together it took a week but due to my humorous behavior they always welcomed me in their conversations. Then we expanded from school to a park. They even met my mom, dad was never around much due to a divorce, always enjoyed when he visited though. By the time I graduated from middle we were best friends despite my numerous jokes they never got tired of me."
The figure is seen flickering between multiple events with each his blank face smile grows until it's shown out with full blown laughter with 3 others there with him
" Me, Taraji, Josh, and Stella, Stella mainly hung around josh though we were still chill when talking to each other, it was slightly awkward due to an incident before we met but we were overall chill. Josh was one of my closest friends me and him were always bouncing jokes and making fun of each other, we always knew not to go to far obviously after trial and error. Then there was Taraji "
The figure is shown confused at Taraji talking to him excitedly over the next legend of Zelda game
" At first she was the first to simply not care and interact with me. It always made me happy looking back on it considering she treated me like a friend she hasn't met in a while. She was probably the entire reason josh and Stella opened up to me so early, and considering I was alone till middle school I was always happy and active whenever me and she interacted. "
The figures of kymani and josh are seen talking till josh whispers in his ear and points at Taraji
" Turns out before either of us started to notice
it Josh and Stella noticed how we acted around each other. They then decided to try to set us up however it was always very embarrassing for me since I haven't expressed Intimacy to anyone other than family. However the day I was gonna risk it well I got swept under my feet and could only see her reaction as I was taken away from my friends and family "
The figure of kymani is seen attempting to touch a door that then cracks and falls as he steps backwards as everything starts falling as he tries to touch his friends who each fall apart into dust, he finnally seen talking to Taraji who is seen smiling at him as she is turned to dust as tears fall down his face as the ground under him collapses with him reaching to a yellow butterfly
[ Back to flashback ]
As I finish explaining Cloud Retainer backs off as I'm suddenly hugged Ganyu, Yanfei, and Shenhe as I hear her speak to me. " I'm sorry you had to experience that, I've never experienced much excitement without you and Im sorry I couldn't bring the same to you "
As tears fall down my face once more non-stop I try to explain that it was fine as I'm cut off by Ganyu " No your not fine, it wasn't fair you were making yourself suffer to make other people happy, I enjoy when I do so you were suffering in silence "
I grow silent at her statement as i hear one more voice " Next time tell us, were your friends and we can't replace the others because they will forever be precious to you, we can help you as your new ones "
as I cry a smile grows on my face looking at the encouraging faces of my friends as I stay silent enjoying the warmth of the situation I enjoy this with my friends
[ Lucifer PoV]
" Well looks like everything ended as expected " I say as I stand behind the Adeptus who brought the various disciples as they look to me placated
Moon Carver speaks up " You have planned this for a while haven't you? " I simply smile as I turn around walking with my hands in my pocket as I disappear into thin air

Alright people were almost out of this month long flashback
and for anyone confused about the titles I make I usually make them in reference to something that happens in the chapter ( like every fucking author explain more clearly asshole)
Aka since the MC was moving like he was dreaming, he sincerely couldn't believe the fact his family and friends were gone, so instead he decided to pretend they were always there
This is simply him accepting that fact and stopping his ignorance of his family and friends he has been ignoring over a long period of time for fear of caring too much
aka dude was traumatized as fuck
