CHAPTER 36

After our talk, I was given some detailed books on different aspects of astral projections and stuff like that

To be able to go into the astral side I first had t get total control over myself and that can be countered with meditation and I am thankful for that,

After that, I will have to watch and learn how Noshiko does it and get a feel of it. For that, I will use my mana sensing eyes of the vampire state and if that does not work I will try and use the wolf eyes that I have.

these two steps might take anywhere from a week to a whole month and possibly a year if I am not talented enough.

As much as I would like to be in control of my emotions, there is this burning feeling in my chest, which causes me to laugh out like a third rate villain or smirk like a certain Uchiha brat and I am not happy about that, on top of all of this I also have the situation of the yokai at hand that I must deal with as well

I would train all day long and go out during the night to take care of mobs of yokai, lately, I have felt that the yokai have become much stronger in power, last night I had to fight a fucking 200 meters long snake with the face if a human and it kinda scared me, with a combination of floating swords and fire manipulation, I was able to take down the guy.

the thing was so disgusting that I did not even take any sample and simply left it there.

My emotions have been more in control with meditation and I am feeling good about that.

I had a couple of run-ins with the guys from the onmyoji branch and I am surprised that the hunters themselves are admiring me, a whole lot different from those that love in the western countries like America and such.

Today marks the first month of me being in constant meditation and finally, I was given some good news

"Congratulations! you have successfully brought your emotions under control, my initial thought was that it would take you ten years at least but it seems like you have something in you that helps you do things thought impossible" I hugged her for giving such good news.

Now I can finally see her go into astral form...hopefully in a week or so.

Noshiko sits in from of me in the lotus position

"You can sit any way you won't just remember to keep your body comfortable and relaxed, alright"

"okay"

I take out a chair from my storage and sit on it, and watch How Noshiko goes into the astral form.

Morning comes and I wake up with a yawn and a stretch....what the fuck

"You fell asleep...cause you got too comfortable...looks like this will be another long session for you," she says in disappointment.

Though it is not my fault I am always having no time to rest with the constant burden I was bound to be a dead log.

In my time with her, I also told her about my turning into a complete human and a complete wolf. But she did not get a hang of it so I made her watch Ben 10 so that she can understand.

After watching the series with me she looked me dead in the eyes and said something that struck the mark.

"I think your Omnitrix is broken"

I decided to rest for two days and today I woke up, I will be going on a full two days hunt starting today and end this hassle once and for all.

I asked Noshiko about this Yokai mob thing and she told me that she did not know anything about it so I was once again left with nothing.

I let out of the windows ignoring th fox cursing at me for dirtying the windows while I was at it. I was gonna battle another one of the mobs of yokai in hopes of finding a big lead.no matter how much I help, the onmyoji are getting tired of this everyday fight. and they are also low in numbers.

I practically run into a dying onmyoji every day and I am happy for once with my wolf side as the green mana of my wolf form acts as something like a life force or healing stimuli if you will.

I look at the file in my hands as I run above the buildings in ohayo, japan.

it was a good feeling, I rather run than fly, it just makes my heart beat much faster, after a while, I reached my location.

it was closed down circus after the war, reported cases of unfortunate accidents that bordered between intentional and unintentional ones.

The owner went bankrupt shortly after and later on found dead under the weight of one of the circus elephants.

I looked at the circus from afar and could feel the familiar scent of the yokai, I used my ability and a piece of information was given

Possessed circus: The whole area around this former circus has been possessed by a possession type of yokai, the yokai can control everything inside the circus.

this was a rather different kind of yokai but not that amazing. I stepped into the circus and made my way to the stadium or the circus rings and honestly found nothing out of ordinary and was a little disappointed since I could not just kill something that was not showing itself.

I felt a rush of air coming at me and was knocked off my feet when a steel beam landed at me, I was a little surprised since there was no sound before I was sent flying...outside the circus.

'Nani! what the fuck' i had a little trouble standing up. I bet my mouth is losing some teeth,' i hope they fucking grow back'

I went to the circus again, I was a little more careful now since I did not want to lose any more teeth, just like before a steel beam came at me, fortunately, I was ready and stopped the beam from coming at me. the circus demon was fighting against my telekinesis but I was not that bothered by it...until a second beam struck me and sent me flying but this time I was able to guard myself a little and avoid damage.

'This one is a little tricky' i thought

"Show yourself, I promise I won't hurt you little yokai," I said to no one in particular since I did not know where the yokai was hiding, it was said that the circus was under possession so I supposed there might be one such object the yokai might be residing in.

"Suit yourself," I said out loud and started conjuring numerous balls of fire and started throwing them all over the place, if the yokai won't come out I will burn down his house and kill its fucking dog, hehe

The whole tent area was under fire and everything was burned to the ground. After a couple more minutes everything was gone and just when I thought I might have killed the yokai I was met with low growling and hootings and other noises.

I turned around and saw a whole mob of demonized animals that looked to be under some kind of cursed mind state or they was just plain hungry.

'The day keeps getting better and better' I said with a smirk as a lion lunged itself at me hoping to tear me apart

"Sorry but you are not in my league little shit," I said as I sent a fire at the lion and killing it.

soon enough I was in a game of tag with the animals and after some time I killed them all and there was nothing left in the circus that was moving except me.

"I know you are still alive, you can't escape me until I get what I want from you"

"LEAVE ME ALONE" A shrill voice which sounded feminine came from all around the debris

I waited for some kind of attack but nothing of that sort came at me, once I found out that the crazy yokai had no way of attacking me at the moment I used my senses to look for the main possession point and after two or three minutes found it.

The thing was a large metallic pole stuck in the ground a good three hundred meters away from the circus, I pulled it out and found dried out the blood at the end.

I looked down and saw flesh I used telekinesis to take it out from the ground.it was the body of women, she looked very horrifying to me,

I summoned my familiar unwillingly and put it on me, it was made by using DNA from that guy in the twilight that I killed who could read people's memories after contact. the familiar was in the shape of a headphone, I touched the yokai/humans head and found out a whole new story about what happened and a possible clue about why the yokai we're increasing or why they were going into a frenzy, though I also found out that the yokai I just killed was what you would call a victim in the crossfire of onmyoji and the yokai.

I used the fire control and summoned a sparkling orange flame which startled the half-dead body in my hands, I grew pity for the poor creature so I whispered in its ears so that it could feel calm.

"Dont worry I know what happened to you and your family, I will make sure to get justice for you, this is a fox flame as they call it and I have heard that it guides the unfortunate souls to the fox heaven or whatever its name is."

Soon the flame bounced onto the mutilated body of the half yokai and the yokai turned into small flames and disappeared.

While this was going on, I was thinking about the memories I received by using the familiar, I have also been trying to get powers that are related to the mind on my own but I am very far, though I can do something similar with my wolf form.

The boss that is leading all the yokai is the yokai called the black snake.it comes from the other mythology which the victim did not know about but it is said to have the ability to cause corruption, its goal is to cause the extinction of the human race just like any other typical villain in movies. It also has a deep grudge with the onmyoji.

As for the revenge that I talked about with the poor girl, its revenge against the onmyoji, a particular onmyoji who was so immersed in revenge that he broke the code of the onmyoji and killed he girls family and her die to her being a half yokai and buried her near the circus.

I knew that the onmyoji might not necessarily kill one of their own for some half yokai and stuff like that so I will just be sneaky about it and kill the person myself since I have plenty of information about my target.

"Zoro ,I have a task for you" i said to a familiar that i summoned,zoro is a familiar that looks like a cat but has plenty of power,enough to kill and unsuspecting target

Zoro went on his way while i started to dig up info on the whereabouts of the black snake,i probably have to get the help of the druid since she seems more knowledgeable about japan.
