Song Xia was cooking when she heard a phone ringtone. She walked over and picked up the phone from the table.

She saw the caller ID [Secretary Mo] and frowned.

'This guy! How can he still be so stupid and careless! He left his phone here and went to his office so hurriedly!'

She thought and answered the call.

A soft yet seductive voice of a girl was heard from the other line. ''Hello...''

Song Xia's eyebrows knitted slightly. She suddenly had a bad feeling.

The girl kept silent for a while then she chuckled softly, ''Shan-ge, when will you come to your office? I have long waited for you! I'm sorry for fighting with you yesterday!

"I didn't know that you are with that foolish and ugly woman, just to take over the Song family`s company! I misunderstood that you want to have both of us..."

She paused for a while before continuing with a happy tone, "After you take over the Song family's company, I know that you'll kick that arrogant woman out of your villa and make me your wife!"

She then coquettishly exclaimed, "Just come over fast! I love you, muah! Bye~!''

Song Xia felt her heart ache as she ended the call. She never loved Guan Shan but still she felt wronged from his betrayal!

Guan Shan always came late from office and left early for office. She had thought he was just very busy, handling the works in the office.

Who could've known that he had hidden his mistress in the company. He was actually cheating on her with his Secretary!

But still she had a little bit of hope so she pushed all the negative thoughts aside.

She hoped that... at least... he would not cheat on her. After all, she was his wife and she couldn't tolerate such cheater as her husband.

Song Xia called the maid to cook up the rest while she drove her car and went to Guan Shan's office.

Song Xia held Guan Shan's phone tightly as she entered the company of her husband.

Song Xia directly went to his office without even making any appointments.

Even though, the receptionist looked annoyingly at her, she dared not to offend her as she was still the Boss' wife.

Even if it was a temporary one..

'Who in the company doesn't know that Secretary Mo is Boss' real wife! Yet this ugly woman still dares to show attitude to us!'

The receptionist rolled her eyes as she resumed her work.

Song Xia was just about to turn the door knob when she heard some faint voices. She leaned on the door to listen carefully.

''Shan-ge, when will you give divorce to that ugly wife of yours? I can't wait to publicize our relationship!''

Song Xia heard the same voice of the woman in the phone. She felt a bad feeling arousing in her heart.

''Yun'er, let's not talk about her! She should not ruin our time together. I already said that I only love you! That ugly woman is not even comparable to your shoe!''

Guan Shan's voice made her tremble.

Song Xia felt hurt as her tears started falling without herself knowing.

She had never thought that her own husband would say such poisonous words about herself.

It hurt her pride and conscience to hear her own husband call her 'ugly'.

During this one year period of time, she had grown fond of this guy because he respected her and abstained from touching her.

Who knew..

Heh, that he didn't even care about her at all!

She couldn't help but feel her heart ache again and again, so many times that it felt suffocating.

She started hearing the sounds of clothes rustling from inside.

She quickly looked through the small gap of the door. She then saw her husband kissing a woman passionately and wildly.

She slid down the door and hugged her knees while her face was buried on her knees.

Song Xia was from a well-known and rich family. She was the youngest and only daughter in the Song family.

She looked very different from all the members of the Song Family and even her own elder brother.

She had ugly features like scars, dark-circles, rashes, pimples and so on.

But she ignored other's opinions about her because she didn't care about how she looked.

For her, looks did not count but personality did.

Because she grew up being pampered by her parents and brother, she became arrogant and picky.

She never thought that she was ugly, only that she was slightly different from other people.

So when she heard others say that she was ugly, she wouldn't take it to heart.

But now hearing her own husband saying that she was ugly, Song Xia felt as if her heart was being pricked by sharp needles.

She always wore unattractive clothes that made her appear as if she was 28 when she was just 20 years old.

Song Xia cried for a while before wiping her tears and running away from the office.

All she wants to do now is... is to leave the place where her cheater husband is!
