Telling the truth

"What do you mean by that" Kai asked cause he don't understand whats going on. "I said run or else he'll kill you" Scarlett said in a hurry so Kai start running towards the door but before he could reach to the door john suddenly appeared in the front of him 'He is really fast he got here in a blink' Kai thought but this is no time to praise him for his speed John grab Kai's hand "I told you not to worry I m not gonna kill you" John said but Kai tried to free his hand "It looks like I have to use force then Cia grab him and don't let him go" soon Cia came and grabbed both of his hands and pushed him to the corner then she grabbed Kai's neck and said "Why do you wanna die that badly I wanna know what are you exactly" Cia Said. Soon the lights turned on again and John also came back "Now it's time for some answers" John said while looking at kai.

John asked Cia to leave Kai and he sit on the floor Cia did the same both of them were blocking the path and Kai was cornered so he sat down as well.

Now answer me truthfully or else you already saw her strength she is a demon and you r still a halfling so if you tried to lie I m gonna leave you two here she didn't taste human meat in a while" John said and when Kai looked at Cia she is showing her sharp teeth they were like vampire teeth he saw in movies.

"Don't worry just tell me everything that happened how did you become like this"

Kai saw there are no other options so he started telling him everything that happened ofcourse he left the part about the system and Scarlett. "Stop lying already" Cia said in a deep voice.

"If you really got turned by a freakin orb than how do you know what john is and why did you ran away" Cia asked.

But Kai already thought of an answer for it he tell them that their is a voice in his head which is instructing him and that voice told him to run and surprisingly john believed him. "So looks like someone sealed their powers in that orb and by chance you got it." John said.

"Really you r believing him" Cia asked

"It's not impossible and he is not a normal demon as well I could feel a different energy in him as well and by his expression I can tell he is telling the truth" John said while looking at kai.

Cia didn't argue any further. "I think we should go to sleep now and as you said you are not gonna go back home you can stay in my house your training will start from tomorrow" John said while walking towards the door but Cia is still staring at kai but when Kai tried to stand up Cia opened her mouth and to bit Kai on his face her sharp teeth are a few inches away from Kai's face when she saw sweat is dripping from Kai's head thats when she start laughing she is holding her stomach and laughing loudly

"Look at him he really thought I m gonna eat him" Cia said still trying to control his laughter "Stop teasing him" John said with no expressions on his face.

"Ok ok but still look at him it's like he is gonna get a heart attack" Cia said while standing up. "Don't worry she is not gonna eat you it was a lie after all you r just a half human and she have a complete control over her" John said while exiting from the room. 'They lied to me so I'll tell them the truth but still she is scary I need to be careful' Kai thought.

"Let me show you your room" Cia said while offering a hand to Kai who was still on the floor but Kai stand up on his own. "Sorry for that and no need to fear"

Cia said trying to comfort Kai but still all of Kai's senses is on high alert.

Soon Cia show a room there was nothing in that room just a bed and two blankets Kai thought it is better than sleeping on the street so he didn't complain cia left him in the room after saying sorry again. 'She is cute' Kai thought "Don't fall for her she tried to eat you just seconds ago" Scarlett said.

Kai laid on the bed and thinking about what training John is talking about.

Then a image of certain someone came to his mind 'Wonder how is Serena doing she must be worried about me but now I got a chance to get stronger so I'll try my best to grow stronger and climb on the top of the food chain'

But before he could sleep he heard a sound of bang someone kicked on his door the door is now wide open and he saw a man in black robes standing there.
