Reynold felt like his all senses had gone numb. He could not hear Alex anymore. Even his vision goes blurry. He could not see what was happening there anymore.
He stood rooted to his place while the last line kept repeating in his mind.
She married George because her lover had betrayed her and she was pregnant with his child. That meant Hazel was his child.
All this while, he had cared about Hazel but somewhere in his heart, he resented her too since she showed the love between Marylyn and George.
Who would have thought that he was resenting his own daughter! Oh my! He just could not stop repeating those words in his mind.
He did not realize when tears started to come out of his eyes. He could not explain his feelings when he ran from there.
"Hey, where are you going? Do you even know where she was and what are you going to tell her once you will find her?" Alex shook his head as he saw his expressions.
