An hour later, I was done unpacking and freshening. I was blow-drying my hair when Lucas emerged in my doorway again.
I rolled my eyes when I heard him talking on the phone before handing it to me, making me wonder who it was.
“Baby girl, your friend wants to talk to you,” he said. “It’s Sofia…”
I frowned, wondering how did Sofia get his number.
“She got my number from Won.” My brother said as if he could read the question in my mind.
The mentioning of his name still made my heart drop. I sighed heavily before I took the phone from Lucas. “Hello?”
“Hey, bitch…” Sofia’s cries filled my ear as soon as I spoke, and she went frantic. “How are you, Ash? I miss you.” and she cried again. “I miss you so much…”
