Chapter 57: Taken (Kang Lei POV)

Its was another bright Sunday afternoon and kang Lei was looking around his kitchen making a shopping list. With their budget still tight he was regimental in what he brought if it wasn't essential he didn't buy it.

"BoBo are you ready? Daddy's all finished up let's go" kang Lei looked to BoJing who was busy reading a book.

"Okay daddy, one second am almost finished" BoJing called back with his eyes glued to the page.

Kang lei smiled, he hoped that after a few more paycheques he'll be able to afford a television set, so BoJing can he like every other kid his age and enjoy a children's show or two, "alright five more minutes" he responded.

It had taken Kang Lei and BoJing around thirty minutes to reach their local mini market, It was one of the cheapest in the area and the owner was familiar with Kang Lei and BoJing.

"Ahh Kang, come to do your weekly shopping have you" smiled the owner

"Mmm yes..." Kang Lei shortly replied and continued down the aisles with BoJing pushing the trolly.

While they were consumed with their task at hand an unfamiliar male entered the store unbeknown to Kang Lei and BoJing. The male gave a cold look to the owner who didn't dare to speak but instead gave a awkward bow of his head in acknowledgement before returning to what he was doing.

The male walked along the aisles unhurried, looking at Kang Lei and BoJing, when they had stopped at the fruit and veg aisle he slowly approached and stood for a moment listening to the two decide on which watermelon was ripper to take. A poisonous smile cured at the corner of his mouth, he couldn't wait to take that smile off Kang Lei's face.

"So this is where you've been hiding all this time little baby" the man finally spoke.

As soon as Kang Lei heard his voice his body froze instinctively gripping BoJing's wrist pulling him closer to himself.

This puzzled BoJing who looked to the man whom was now looking at him for answers.

"Hay there little man.....(he paused after smelling BoJing's scent)..... oh you're a little Alpha interesting, you look just like your father when he was your age sweet and pure, pity you're not an omega" he scornfully said to BoJing with a displeasing look on his face.

"stay away from him" Kang Lei fearfully spoke gripping even tighter to BoJing's wrist.

"Well that will all depends on how well you behave... am I right little baby? it you refuse to come with today...well let's just say you know what am capable of" the male said with a malicious smirk.

"Cai Hung what do you want?" kang Lei's bravely asked even though his body was shaking in fear at the mention of the mans name.

Kang Lei's worst nightmare was before him he knew MiMi would have called Cai Hung the moment she left Dominic's mansion but he had nowhere else to go so he hoped that Cai Hung would not have been triggered seeing that his type was very young Omega males. Kang Lei was much older now a grown man so he fear Cai Hungs target would be BoJing, as he thought BoJing was an omega but now upon knowing BoJing was an Alpha, that would only mean He would dispose of them both once he was satisfied with whatever he needed.

"What do I want? well let's see you disappeared before I was ready to dispose of you, do you know how much money you cost me? and on top off that you took what's mine. I know you're not good with maths so let me say this simply you owe me and I just came to collect a debt... You have five seconds" Cai Hung said in a condescending cold manner, before causally turning to leave the store with a satisfied look on his face.

Kang Lei hesitated looking to see if there was anyway he could escape, he looked to his right and left but instead there stood men on either side watching him.

Kang Lei bent down to BoJing placed his hands on his shoulders and in an reassuring tone he said, "okay BoBo daddy...just needs to go with his friend, I need you to be a good boy now and if we get separated don't worry because daddy will be right back okay.... in the meantime please don't be scared my sweet BoBo".

"Daddy I don't understand, why would we get separated, daddy is everything okay who's that man"? BoJing was suspicious his father was speaking and acting strange.

"Yes BoBo everything is fine...let's go". Kang Lei said nervously his face was now pale and his voice though trying comfort BoJing was trembling when he spoke, BoJing followed his father though he himself was feeling uneasy.

BoJing and Kang Lei were escorted to a black car were Cai Hung awaits, the moment they both became seated in the car Cai Hung turned to his men who was still holding the car door and said coldly, "get the kid out".

Kang Lei eyes opened wide in fear, before he had time to protest within seconds Cai Hung men had took hold of BoJing and started pulling him out the car, a mixture of horrified shouts came from both father and son "BoJing, Bojing" kang Lei grabbed hold of BoJing's waist restraining him in the car, "daddy what's happening" cried BoJing fear and confusion was now present on his small face.

"What's taking so long, get the bastard out now!" Roared Cai Hung, giving his men a vicious glare.

One of the men forcibly pulled Kang Lei's hands from around BoJing and dragged BoJing from the car. Loud screams came from Kang Lei "BOJING! BOJING! BOJING!" He attempted to get out the car when Cai Hung placed the tip of a gun to his head "I dare you to move...if you want that little bastard to remain alive I advise you calm down" Cai Hung said coldly, finally pulling the gun from Kang Lei's head. Kang Lei's body was shaking uncontrollably, he reposition himself in his seat with tears rolling down his eyes. Kang Lei didn't care if Cai Hung killed him but his heart was in fear for what Cai Hung would do to BoJing. Though Cai Hung was an Alpha he hated other alphas and though BoJing may he his own flesh and blood in Cai Hung eyes he was a threat to him. "Let's go" Cai Hung said to his driver who nodded and did as instructed. Kang Lei sat as far way as possible from Cai Hung, not wanting the man to touch not even an inch of his body. he wanted to ask what Cai Hung intended to do with BoJing but the words couldn't leave his mouth, he was numb paralysed by fear.

They sat in the car for a long time without talking, Kang Lei spent the whole journey looking outside the window his eyes glued to the following vehicles behind them, the other car that was carrying BoJing. Paranoia and anxiety was overflowing within Kang Lei's mind, he wonder what the men were doing to BoJing, did they hurt him? What were they going to do to him. It was visible to see Kang Lei's worries his body was unconsciously fidgeting his eyes unmoved hardly blinking.

a few hours had passed and Kang Lei's position remained unchanged, he was getting more and more at ease thinking BoJing will be in the same place as him, when suddenly the car which carried BoJing took a left turn verging off the same path as them, Kang Lei's body jolted "what's happening they're going the wrong way, Cai Hung call them back they're going the wrong way" he panicky looking to Cai Hung, whom was uninterested in what he had to say and didn't respond "Cai Hung call them back they're going the wrong way!" He raised his voice so Cai Hung can hear him clear.

Cai Hung looked at him with a sinister smirk on his face "you think I would have you and that little bastard together, come on little baby do you even understand the meaning of punishment? It means the things you love gets taken away, besides this is your fault for running away from me" Cai Hung spoke his eyes filled with malicious intent.

Kang Lei didn't respond he couldn't, the look in Cai Hung eyes had frozen his body solid he recognised that look and he dreaded what was to come.
