She looked at the message and simply imagining the headache that was Chen Xi, she did not want the two of them to meet ever again!

She looked at ChenG Yu, "Something came up...I have to leave. I will check on you later"

Cheng Yu nodded silently and when the door closed to signal Lin Ye's departure, she let out a huge breath of air while choking up. Her body shivered like a leaf.

Lin Ye walked to the VIP rooms and found Feng An standing outside Chen Xi's room.

His rimmed glasses shone under the morning lights. Lin Ye always felt strange whenever they met.

Feng An smiled at her, "If you would have come later he would have started throwing a tantrum already..."

Lin Ye did not reciprocate his sense of humor, "Then he should know he is not the only patient in this hospital."

Feng An continued to smile, "He has always been like that though. His attention and no one else's."

Lin Ye finally smiled, "Too bad then, I am used to being everyone's center of attention."

Feng An was calm as he asked something totally off topic, "Miss Lin, are you truly sure you don't remember him?"

Lin Ye turned to face him, "Someone like him, don't you think someone would remember meeting him?'

Feng An felt this was reasonable but he still felt it strange. He had been working with Chen Xi for quite a while and he knew that there was a time of darkness that engulfed Chen Xi, it was when Lin Ye disappeared.

He did not know what was happening and to be honest he still did not know but he felt that there was a power much stronger and this power was in control of everything.

He looked at Lin Ye, "I am sorry Miss Lin, I stepped out of line just now."

His apology was straight to the point although Lin Ye did not feel that he needed to.

She walked up and opened the door. Chen Xi was currently lying on his stomach with his legs flailing up.

This was strange for him to do with that face of his.

Lin Ye walked up to him, "I see you can now lie on your stomach, I should discharge you today."

Chen Xi immediately sat up, "No doctor, I am very sick...still not feeling well."

Lin Ye walked up to him and lifted his shirt. His wound was healing nicely but still a bit fast paced to Lin Ye's shock.

She did not comment about it but then she heard Chen Xi say, "You lifting up my shirt like this is sexual harassment, I would like to file a report to your boss!"

Lin Ye did not bat an eyelid, "Be my guest"

Chen Xi felt like Lin Ye was finally getting a hang around the way he spoke. He teased her by saying, "But you can look all you want wifey. Tell me, does your husband's body look good"

Lin Ye felt like punching him, "Careful now... I handle needles."

Chen Xi coughed and looked away.

Lin Ye smiled discreetly, "Looks like you won't be staying here anymore. I will let your assistant handle your discharge papers. You can finally leave this place."

Chen Xi looked shocked, "Then where would I go?"

Lin Ye looked at him dead in the eye, "I don't really care..."

She then remembered his previous rambling about coming from a different world, "...or you could go back to your world."

Chen Xi looked at her, "So you finally believe me?"

Lin Ye coughed, "Believe what? Who would believe in such nonsense? Just hurry up and get out of here soon..."

Chen Xi refused to get up, "But I really don't have a place in this world, wifey how about we go back to our world? We have a really big house back there."

Lin Ye was getting tired of his nonsense, "How about you go back and live in that house all by yourself?"

Chen Xi was stunned, unable to speak. He remembered that back then she had answered him the same way.

He had been so happy when he bought a house back then and even happier when he had told her about it but back then just like today, she answered in the same words.

He was looking for traces of what she was once and slowly he was finding them.

His hands subconsciously moved and almost pet her head but he returned it at lightning speed.

He could only laugh and lament in a low voice, "Wifey...you are really cruel!"
