They got to the restaurant and uncle Su opened the car door.

They both came down and walked into the restaurant. When they got to the fifth floor, Du Lixin's phone rang. "Sweetheart go in and choose a table for us, I need to take this call, I'll be back soon." Du Lixin kissed her forehead and walked away.

The manager walked up to Xiao Li and rudely said. "Hey girl, stand up and leave, someone like you isn't allowed to sit in the VVIP room. I will be embarrassed if so many people find you here."

Xiao Li didn't say anything. and just looked at him.

She couldn't believe how poor people were being treated here.

The manager saw that she wasn't reacting and shouted. "Waitress." A waitress rushed in. "Bring some leftovers for her, seems like she's really hungry and also she should eat in the kitchen, I don't want her poor attitude on others."

Xiao Li scoffed and was about to say something when a masculine voice was heard. "How dare you treat my wife that way."

The manager was shocked at the statement. "Si... Sir, your wife?"

"Sweetheart sorry I came late, so you were being bullied."
