The next day occurred and everybody was present outside for the competition, waiting for Anna.

Both the Royalties, media, audiences and the other guests were becoming impatient gradually.

"Where is that wretched mistress of yours?! The more I try to fix things, the more she ruins my reputation! Call her immediately!" King Darin was on his royal outdoors throne fuming.

Despite Andrien being hypnotized, His chest felt weird for some reason but he overlooked it and nodded.

As he was about to search for her, everyone spotted her coming, she looked embarrassed by the glances they gave her.

"Why are you late?! I told you to be here by 7am!"

"I..I'm sorry, I thought I set my alarm clock at 7, I don't know how I woke up by 12am..I apologize." her head was bent slightly low.

The King rolled his eyes.

"What are you wearing?! look at Susan, she's very decent, but you?!-"

"My king I also don't know what happened to my clothes, and this was the only kind of dresses that were there. We can't be wasting time over this, we should start now." Her posture became elegant with her head held high.

She was getting tired of the king anyways, and if the media is there then he wouldn't be able to do anything to her, or their reputation would be tarnished. She smiled mischievously at the image of that.

"Very well then. My king if you'll allow me to start, may Susan and Anna step forward." One of the Judges spoke and King Darin motioned the two to move forward, when they did he continued.

"We are going to be having 10 rounds of this game. The first round is called 'How much you both are familiar with the prince', meaning you must answer the questions that prince andrien asks you."

Anna noticed that Susan had a satisfied grin on her face.

' has she rigged the whole thing? If yes then good for me, I hate that cruel prince very much. '

Prince Andrien sat at a smaller throne next to the king.

"What is my favorite color?" was the first question he asked.

'Since his room was decorated with a dark color, I'm guessing..'

"black." Anna said loud enough to reach everyone's ears.

"blue." Susan also replied.

"Black is the correct answer." Susan's smile seized.

"But blue-"

"I like blue, but my most preferred color is black. Next question.."

"What is the name of my late mother?"

'What? I knew this was rigged! '

"Mrs. Sabrina Antonio." Susan hurried to answer.

"that is accurate. Since you both are on a tie, let's do something different. The first person to race to the other side back here, will be claimed the winner for round 1 and gets to spend the entire evening with me on a date."

Anna cringed at what he said, and Susan smiled widely.

I mean, She could beat Susan with no sweat, but a date with him? 'no thank you ' she inwardly said, and they went to the field.

"On your mark." they were into position.

Susan ran ahead fast, Anna quickly rushed in front of her. The same thing was happening and Susan realized that Anna was at the edge of winning.

"I won't let that happen" She stated in a low tone and used magic which intentionally made anna to fall down.

The audiences gasped.

"Is she hurt?"

"Should we inform the doctor."

"has she lost?" they all murmured simultaneously.

'That witch did something to me.. Why can't I stand up or move?.. ' No matter the efforts, She still couldn't move.

Meanwhile, Susan was running with pride, but before she could get to the other side, she also tripped and fell into something...and it resembled several bunches of wires? as soon as her skin made contact with it, she was electrocuted.

Everyone stood up from their seats to attend to Susan.

''Wow..They all care for her so much.'' Anna mumbled and then saw a hand, she gazed up to see a young man offering her his hand?

"I hope you're not hurt. Here let me help."

"I don't need your help, I'll manage."

He chuckled. "Still the same stubborn girl."

"What do you mean? Who exactly are you?" She glared at the handsome man.
