The moment of truth

Brought it rings in my ear, as I watch his mouth bounce slowly.

Gosh!! I exclaimed and the teacher take the price tag and turn to me.

“So Mr smarty pants what do you think you are going to do to these two dogs after losing 50 marks out of a hundred for losing and replacing your dog. Hearing this I was so angry at John.

“I will return the new dog back in the store, sir I am sorry for replacing the dog.” I apologize bowing my head.

“We are sorry,” Rachael said also bowing her head.

“Sorry isn’t going to solve anything you are going to take responsibility for your actions, how will you feel if your parents adopt kids and use them to replace you?" He inquired and we both lookup.

“We feel bad,” Rachael muttered.

“So next time don’t think of doing such things again and think of ways to improve your teamwork who knows I can just give you the full mark for working well.” He muttered hearing this I was overwhelmed with joy.

“We will try our best, thank you, sir.” We both chorused and have our seats and we all turn to look at John.

“What I couldn’t help it, I like saying the truth.” He replied bluntly and Jane step on his feet.

He growled silently.

“Since when have you become holy, don’t you remember that you and James had to get another hamster,” Jane muttered twisting her heels on his foot as he screwed up his face.

“I can’t believe you of all people will do this to me, even though you are the investigative type,” I muttered.

“Am sorry please forgive me, but the truth will still come out sooner or later.” He grinned and I held Jane’s hand and give her a sign to let him go she remove her leg from his foot and he held his foot immediately and she turn to me.

“He is right, thank goodness that’s off our chest now, you know one lie leads to a million lies and we still need to lie to mum and dad when we get home,” Rachael remarks.

“Yes, you are right; but that doesn’t mean John should just snitch on Steve.” James remarks.

“Am sorry, I really am,” John stated.

“Then you will treat us to dinner, food is on you.” Jane declared

“Okay, I will buy your food today.” He muttered

“Then that’s means I have to eat a lot,” Rachael remarks licking her lower lips and we all stare at her. She is something else. Am thinking of getting John to lose a lot of money buying food. I said smiling from ear to ear as the teacher continue teaching.

Class ended and we all head to the cafeteria we walk into the cafeteria walking side by side grabbing the attention of all the students we walk to our special lounge and sit there then Christian and his friend walks in with Trevor behind them.
