New face

Steve walk to lily’s room and stop to eavesdrop on their conversation.

“Who is my bro Steve to you?” Lily ask

“You are too young to be asking such questions; he is just a friend?” Rachael replied

“How long have you two known each other?” she inquired

“hmm.” Steve walks in                            

“So Steve you are here,” Rachael said getting up from the bed

“I need to talk to you,” he said and drag her out of the room.

“What is something wrong? What did your parents say are they going to accept me or not? Rachael ask with sweat forming on her forehead she was nervous.

“They will accept you but you have to change your identity and appearance.” He replied looking into her brown eyes.

“Why?  She asks

“Your parents should be looking for you now and they want you to secure a good future so are you willing to sacrifice your identity just to get away from them? He asks with a serious face.

“I will if that means I don’t have to see my step mum again.” She muttered clenching her fists

“What about your father?” he asks

“I don’t care he doesn’t love me anyway.” She said looking down

“I don’t know how you feel inside but you will have to be seeing Lisa at school every day.” He stated.

“That’s not a big deal as long as she doesn’t recognize me.” She replied

“Come with me my mum will give you a new face but you have to wear it to school every day and you can take it off when you are at home and your new name is Anastasia.” He said

“Anastasia? I kinda like the name so who is Anastasia to you as from today?” she asks starring at him

“huh.” he blushes “my cousin I guess” he said stroking his hair back shyly.

“Okay cousin let's go, I hope you get used to calling me that in school.” She beamed.

“I will try my best.” He muttered.

They both walk to the living room.

“Hun takes her to the hospital I have appointed one of my doctors to help her with the face.” Mr Davis said.

“Alright.” She replied walk out of the house with Rachael

Rachael goes with Mrs Bianca to the hospital while Mr Davis and Steve sit on the couch playing video games together.

“So you finally have the gut to talk to your dream girl, and lucky enough she will be living with us now,” Davis said smiling

“Dad, to be honest, all this happen In a blink of an eye, I manage to talk to her yesterday and when she didn’t come to school today I was worried and while I was driving home. I heard a lot of people gather on the bridge and went to see what was going on and found Rachael trying to commit suicide. I was shocked at first and try to help her.”

“Don’t be too happy living at the same house with your crush and talking about that you will have to be acting like her cousin at school your life will be miserable.” He stated bluntly.
