“I have never seen you fight at college before.” Rachael replied

“That because he got into a bully situation, he wanted to save someone from being bullied and now, he is facing punishment.” Mrs Bianca stated

“I saw you that day, you were such a hero if I was in your shoes I would have done the same thing.” Rachael said with a smile and Steve face reddens while Mr Davis glare at him with side eyes.

“Are you two going to school together?” Lily inquired.

“Of course we are.” Steve replied

“That will be good it will make the whole cousin thing believable.” Mr Davis air quote the statement and Mrs Bianca giggles.

“It’s time to go, I don’t want to be late.” Steve said and drag Rachael’s by the hand they both walk out of the house. With the family eyes never leaving them.

“Am so happy for my son.” Mr Davis said grabbing his suit

“Why are you happy for him?” Mrs Bianca ask

“It’s nothing.” he replied walking away

“Those guys are being secretive, I think bro Steve likes Rachael because of the way he looks at her.” Lily suggested.

“Maybe.” Mrs Bianca gathering the plates in a tray.

Steve’s POV

We both got to the garage and I open the door of my car for her, acting like the gentlemen I was.

“Thank you cousin.” she beamed how I wish that cousin was something else more like boyfriend or something.

I close the door behind her and turn to the other side of the car, I open the door and get in, I twisted the key on the car and drive off.

I drive into school and we both step out of the car with the few students at school starring at us.

“Who is that beauty with Steve.” a girl said.

“it’s seems she is his girlfriend.” Another one added

“Who brings his girlfriend to the school he attends.” one of the girl said lifting her upper lip in disgust.

“People are talking about us.” Rachael said in almost a whisper.

“Am use to it.” I reply with a smirk

“Am not use to it, it’s so awkward.” she said walking with me and Christian and his friends approach us with a broom.

“Lover boy catch.” Christian said throwing a broom at me, I catch the broom and glare at him as I saw that his eyes were never leaving Rachael.

“Who is this beauty you are with, don’t tell us you bring her here to sweep for you.” one of them teased

“Hell no am not as lazy as you think.” i stated and Christian move closer to Rachael scanning her with his eyes.

“What’s your name angel?” he inquired

“My name is Anastasia.” she replied avoiding his gaze.

“What a beautiful name, are you Steve’s girlfriend?” he asks raising questioning eyebrows.

“No am his cousin.” she replied bluntly and his face lit up.

“Wow Steve, you never told me you have such a beautiful cousin.” he stated smiling endlessly.
