SOUL THAT CHANGE BODY

"And what hurts more, Sabina doesn't like being around her mother since she woke up from an accident. Even though so far the closest person to Sabina is her mother. I'm confused, Brian. We don't know what to do with Sabina anymore," Mr. Jerry's face clearly showed sadness and confusion.

Brian saw the look on Mr. Jerry's face, which was usually wise and charismatic, was now wrinkled. It seems that his mind has been confused thinking about his daughter.

'O Allah, how great is Your power to make life like a drama like this. The events that Sabina and Uncle Jerry told me were very closely related,'

'Listening to every story of Uncle Jerry makes me believe that the Sabina who lives with me every day is Sabina, Uncle Jerry's daughter,'

'And the Sabina who was in front of me earlier was a scary old grandmother who took Sabina's body, as Sabina told me the other day,'

'Aahhhh! I feel like screaming!' Brian clenched his fists at this point. He felt like he wanted to let out all the emotions he was feeling right now.

His thoughts were all over the place. It was very difficult to sort out every piece of information that came rushing into Brian's mind.

It was also impossible for Brian to tell all the events he knew to Mr. Jerry. Brian would be considered crazy if he said that the Sabina who was with him at home was the real daughter of Mr. Jerry and the one with them had not been Sabina but a ghost of an evil old grandmother.

'But I don't think I can stand it anymore. Oh my God, help me! What should I do now? I couldn't bear to look at Uncle Jerry's worried face. While Sabina always hopes to be back with her family again.'

Slowly, Brian began to take regular breaths. He couldn't bear to see Mr. Jerry who looked down at this time. Brian put his arm around Mr. Jerry's shoulders and tried to encourage him.

"Uncle, be patient. I'm sure behind all these incidents, there will be a lesson for us. We pray together so that Sabina will return to the way she used to be. Maybe we should be a little more patient, Uncle!" Brian encouraged.

"Thank you, Brian. You want to hear my complicated story. I don't know who to tell. And when I met you, I felt comfortable talking about anything with you, until finally, I dared to tell a problem that other people shouldn't know about. But apart from everything else, you are already my child."

"You're right, Brian. Maybe we should be more patient with Sabina's situation like this. Thank you, Brian. My heart is a little calmer now," Mr. Jerry said with a smile.

Looking at Mr. Jerry's face in front of him, Brian said to himself, 'Yes, Uncle. We do have to be patient a little longer. I'll help you guys get together with Sabina again,'

'Sabina, soon you will gather with your family and return to your old life. I promise you, Sabina!'

***

Brian came home with a bad feeling. When he got home he wanted to hug the poor Sabina.

'What am I going to do when things like this happen? Should I still be silent watching they always grieve at what they don't know out there?'

'I also can't reveal anything because I haven't gotten a clue about all this. There's no way I can tell Sabina that I already know everything that happened. What if Sabina wants to reenter her body and I don't know how?'

'As for that evil old Granny, I don't know what she's like yet. Will when her cover is discovered by others, will she be desperate to harm Sabina's body? Ahhh, I have to think about all that too before I tell the truth about all this to Sabina and her family!'

The turmoil in Brian's heart made him not realize that his steps had stopped right in front of the door of his apartment room.

"Ah, I've arrived home," he mumbled softly before opening the door and immediately saw Sabina welcoming him home.

"Brian, are you home yet? Why not until the night?" Sabina asked while greeting Brian.

"You should be grateful, Sabina. If I hurry home then it will be faster to meet you!" Brian chirps with a smile.

"Your seduction is of no use to me, Master Seduction!" Sabina also grumbled with a smile.

Brian just smiled when he saw Sabina hammering and went straight to the kitchen. As usual, when Brian came home, Sabina immediately rushed to prepare food for Brian.

'My life is happy because of you Sabina. You always make my day,' Brian muttered before rushing to clean himself in the bathroom.

After cleaning and tidying up, Brian sat down at the small table where Sabina had served warm food for him. Brian looked at Sabina who was watching him eat her homemade food and waited for Brian's response about the taste of the food.

"Sabina, may I ask a question?"

"Hmm, about what? Don't be weird, Brian!" Sabina answered.

"Why are you nice to me? Why do you want to bother taking care of me?" Brian began to ask.

"Hmm… Maybe because I like it. I love to cook and I'm also bored of not doing anything. And you happen to be here, so I think it's only natural that we can benefit each other!" Sabina answered honestly.

Brian was a little disappointed with Sabina's answer. He expected Sabina to do all that because she had special feelings for Brian, but she didn't.

"I thought you had special feelings for me as I had for you. Turns out I was just clapping one hand, gosh…" Brian snorted helplessly, "Disappointed supporters!" he continued grumbling.

Sabina chuckled at Brian's words. And that smile made Brian happy too. But it immediately reminded Brian that Sabina's happiness was not yet perfect. And that's what Brian will be bringing about in a moment.

"Brian, you are a good young man, smart, and have a bright future. Hoping something from a woman like me won't do you any good. Nothing good will come for you if you like me."

While stopping her laughter, Sabina spoke the harsh truth. Her smile faded, her eyes looking straight down as she said those words.

"Who told you that I get nothing if I like you and life chooses you?" Brian immediately answered firmly, "Right now I'm very grateful that I've been allowed to meet a beautiful, gentle, intelligent woman who can take good care of me. I'm happy, Sabina!" he continued speaking.

Sabina looked at Brian sadly. Brian could see the dam of tears welling up in Sabina's eyes and ready to slide out.

"Why are you saying things like this, Brian? I don't want to expect more. Please don't like me!"

Sabina's tears fell on her hazy face.

"Why don't you wish for more, Sabina? You are a human with a life. Don't give up hope because of your current state!"

"You can hope and always pray to Allah so that your problems are quickly resolved. I'm sure, soon your life will return to the way it used to be!"

Sabina lifted her face then nodded and smiled at Brian.

"If only your body didn't fade to the touch, I would have hugged you from a long time ago, I will hold your hand, and I wouldn't let go,"

"Sabina, I like you. I love you. Please accept my feelings. Rely on me because I just want you to be happy!"

Brian finally let out the feeling. And of the many thoughts that were clumping together in his head, only the words of love and affection could be said by Brian.

"I'm satisfied after being honest with you, Sabina. I don't have to hold back this strange and tickling feeling in my heart all this time," Brian continued.

He can be seen at this time Sabina's facial expression is getting more and more chaotic. But, after a while, Sabina nodded her head with her most beautiful smile.

"I'll take it slow, Brian. May you be the happiness that God sent for me," Sabina replied with a smile.

Sabina's hand touched Brian's hand. Of course, at this time their hands seemed to be one because Sabina was touching Brian in transparent mode. But for Brian, it felt very warm and comfortable.

Brian is very happy that Sabina is trying to accept his feelings. And what made Brian happy, he was able to convince Sabina to continue to hope and rise from adversity.

'I always wish I could always make you smile, Sabina...' he said to himself.

"Sabina, what is the thing you are most doing right now and that is the thing that can make you happy?" Brian asked.

"There is not any. I'm very grateful to be alive until now with a situation like this. Everything I want may somehow come true and that's something I don't want to force. I accept everything that God has given me. Including you," Sabina smiled back.

But seeing a smile like that made Brian clench his fist tightly. Brian tried to hold back the suffocating feeling of wanting to cry. It was hard to contain Sabina's sadness that was visible in Brian's eyes.

'Be patient, Sabina. I will try to return the body-swapping soul to where it belongs. I promise you,' Brian said sadly in his heart.
