SABINA

The busy morning was visible to Sabina. Currently, Sabina is sitting on the sofa relaxing while watching Brian's busy schedule going to work.

Already since dawn, Brian seemed to be pacing aimlessly. It was very obvious that Brian was confused.

"Do you not want to accept my help? Are you sure you'll be ready on time if you haven't worn a shirt for the office yet?" Sabina asked Brian.

Yes, it is true that until now Brian is not at all ready to go. The shirt he was wearing was untidy with a tie that just hung around his neck.

Meanwhile, the clothes in Brian's closet were taken out and now scattered on the bed.

Despite being asked by Sabina, Brian hasn't responded at all.

"What have you been looking for all this time?" Sabina asked again. But more precisely because his eyes hurt so much when he saw the scattered things in the room.

"I'm looking for my socks and comb. My mom put them aside yesterday, but I forgot where I put them in the cupboard!" Brian answered who was still trying to unpack his wardrobe.

"You mean these two things?" Sabina asked, holding the two objects Brian was looking for in her hands.

Brian turned around to look at Sabina. He was surprised to see the clumps of socks and comb in Sabina's hands.

"Where did you get that from? I've looked everywhere but can't find it!" Brian asked in surprise.

"On the nightstand. Since last night I saw those two things there," replied Sabina, "Did you forget last night before going to bed, you prepared everything?" she continued asking.

"Gosh…" Brian grumbled to himself as he patted his forehead. Brian sat on the edge of the bed with an annoyed expression on his face.

"Is this your first day at the office? I saw you were so nervous and panicked," asked Sabina who sat back down after putting Brian's comb and socks in their original place.

"Hmm, yes. This is my first day on the job. After graduating from college, I didn't go straight to work and just spent time playing,"

"So far, my mother and household assistants have been taking care of my belongings and needs. I just have to go wherever I want to go play."

"I was too spoiled and got used to the help of my mom and other siblings. And right now, when I'm living alone and want to start being independent, I'm overwhelmed and confused."

Brian subconsciously admits his helplessness to Sabina. He admits that he is too dependent on others and has difficulty living independently.

Sabina smiled and understood what Brian was feeling.

"You are like my brother. And maybe he still can't live independently and have a girlfriend until now, because my brother always depends on mom, just like you!" Sabina began to explain.

"From the food, he will eat to his work clothes. Maybe that's why he doesn't have a partner yet, hihihi," Sabina chuckled remembering her daily life with her brother and her parents, "I sometimes get confused and think how long will my brother continue like that?" she continued.

"But it wasn't a fatal mistake. You or my brother just need to try slowly. You have to get used to living independently, preparing for your own needs, and not being too dependent on others. But most men are like that, so don't beat yourself up!"

"Cheer up, it's your first day on the job, right?"

Sabina's words to Brian sounded like encouragement slowly rousing Brian from his panic.

"Thank You. I'm calmer now," Brian said with a smile.

"Not a problem!" replied Sabina who also smiled, "Then what do you want to do first? Time is ticking, and you will be late on your first day if you don't prepare until this second," continued Sabina.

"I've cooked rice in the rice cooker, but I haven't made my breakfast. Meanwhile, I have to wear neat clothes on my first day."

"I could have eaten breakfast out, but it would be a waste of time and money. I have to save my expenses. I'm still confused about adapting to my current condition. Do you have a solution for my problem?" Brian asked Sabina subconsciously.

Even though in his mind he still thinks that Sabina is a ghost, and keeps asking what will he get from a ghost-like Sabina?

But Brian's little heart believed in Sabina's words.

"You just make your appearance. I will help you with other things!" replied Sabina when an idea popped up.

"Are you sure you can help me?" Brian asked doubtfully.

"Are you doubting me?" Sabina asked back, "You will regret doubting me!" she continued with a frown and left Brian and headed for the kitchen.

"Of course I doubt you. We just ran into strange circumstances. Just seeing you like that makes me confused, let alone believe that you can help me!" Brian mumbled after Sabina went to the kitchen, "Never mind, I have to tidy up my work clothes!" he continued muttering.

"Let's see what he bought last night!" Sabina muttered as she opened the refrigerator in the kitchen, "Eggs, instant noodles, soy sauce, and..." Sabina looked thoughtful after looking at some of the ingredients in the refrigerator, "Ah, I know!" she said with a happy smile as several recipes popped into her mind.

While Brian, who had tidied up his work clothes, went straight to the kitchen to quickly make breakfast that was easy and practical to eat. Understandably, Brian is not used to leaving the house on an empty stomach, he has to eat something in the morning or his stomach will hurt.

When Brian was on the threshold of entering the kitchen, Brian gasped slightly when he noticed Sabina busy in the kitchen. Brian is increasingly amazed by the greatness of God who governs life until what he sees now is as if he is dreaming.

Brian rejected the confusing reality that was before his eyes right now. How could there be a beautiful woman with a transparent body, and that woman was cooking in her kitchen? Maybe if Brian told someone else, he would be considered crazy.

"You just sit at the dining table, soon your breakfast will be finished!" Sabina spoke without turning around. She knew that Brian was watching her from the door.

"You really can cook? Ah, I mean how can you do all this when your body is like that?" Brian couldn't help the question that was already on the corner of his lips.

Sabina did not respond to Brian's question and continued to watch what she was doing now because the food was almost done.

Watching Sabina who seemed to just want to be quiet, Brian shrugged his shoulders in confusion and agreed to sit down in front of the dining table.

Before long, three small plates of three different types of food were served on the dining table. The aroma of the food mixed with the smell of the steam of freshly cooked rice immediately made Brian's stomach growl. Yes, Brian is very hungry.

Sabina returned to the kitchen after setting the food on the table for Brian.

While Brian still couldn't believe what he was seeing at this moment. Instead of eating, Brian even approached Sabina who was cleaning the cooking utensils she used earlier in the kitchen.

"Hmm, sorry if I'm being presumptuous, but I'm really curious about what you did for me. I'm not ungrateful that you helped me with making breakfast for me, but I'm too confused to digest our current situation."

Sabina turned around and now faced Brian when Brian called her and asked.

"Then what do you want to ask? Do you want me to explain how I can hold onto things without dropping things here, while you can't shake my hand and I look weird to you? Am I right?" Sabina responded to what Brian wanted to ask.

Brian nodded approvingly, "I wish you would explain it to me, Miss!" said Brian.

"But if I explain to you, you'll be late on your first day of work. Is that what you want?" Sabina answered.

"You're right, but I can't just go and work in an office with a torn mind. I have to find an answer to my confusion about you," Brian didn't want to lose.

Sabina is seen massaging her forehead.

"Okay, I'll tell you briefly. In return for letting me cook for you. But sit down and eat your breakfast. I'll tell the story while watching you eat it all!" Sabina agrees to Brian's request on easy terms Brian.

They both sat behind the dining table.

Brian asked the same thing again before eating breakfast that Sabina made. A small bowl of white rice accompanied by a small bowl of egg omelet is beautiful because it is combined with chopped vegetables and peppers. And another bowl contains canned fish whose broth is fragrant.

"You cooking fragrant food like this amazes me. How could this be real and presented in front of me? You know, I can be considered a lunatic when I tell other people about what I've been going through since I've been in this place?" Brian said to Sabina.

"Then don't tell anyone. Promise me and I'll tell you what you want to know when you get home from work!" replied Sabina with a serious facial expression.
