I learned the fact that Mark's mate had died a long time ago.

I had known Mark before, he was very distinguished among his peers, a genius according to the elders. Many she-wolves wanted to be his mate, but one day I heard people talking about that his mate had appeared, but was very ugly and weak.

A few more days later, I got the news that he killed his mate with his own hands.

It was said that Mark loathed the girl and refused to let her be his mate. But the girl didn't accept his rejection, so Mark took her to the forests and killed the girl.
