Shiro was surprised by this notification. 

Despite his ears being damaged, he could still somehow hear the voice of the system - as if it was directly incorporating the message to the brain.

Regardless, Shiro saw the notification, seconds after which, he found the fire on the monster vanishing slowly.

As the skill Aura Domain was still active, he realized that a small red-colored flower had bloomed near the boss monster's head which was absorbing all the fire.

'Tsk should have expected a boss monster to have some tricks in its sleeves…' 

The fire was vanishing slowly and the damage suffered by the boss monster remained the same.

Due to the skill, throwing lanterns on it won't work anymore. It would just absorb all the fire inside it.

Hence, Shiro almost immediately realized that the only way to kill it was to stab its heart.
