My OP Dragon GF Can’t Fight

A young and courageous man, known only by his first name Alexander, whose origins are shrouded in mystery, awakens a slumbering dragon and forms a binding contract with it, becoming the protector of the Celestian Village. As mysterious as his background, so is his voracious greed. For wealth, fame, and power, Alexander was willing to go to any lengths and believed that everything in existence serves to amplify his gains. Alexander's expectations of wealth and glory after awakening the dragon were shattered when the cowardly creature proved to be weak. Now facing formidable foes, must he choose between courageously defending the village or succumbing to his greed and losing sight of his true purpose? Because every body part of a dragon, when ingested, grants power, including its POOP. Like every creature, this dragon too shits daily, he has a lot of chances to gain power, albeit in a SHITTY way. ... "Alex, you spend so little time here. What have you been up to?" "Oh, just a few things. You know I have a life outside this whole dragon servant thing." "You didn't think about that when you signed up for this!" With a smirk, Alexander teased Krystal, asking, "What's next? Are you going to chase me away?" Despite enjoying his company, Krystal was speechless, torn between her feelings as she enjoyed his company. Perhaps Krystal had grown overly fond of Alexander, giving him a sense of bravado and cockiness.

12. Alexander with No Last Name.

Alex stared at Krystal. His gaze locked on the dragon in wonder. She was so frightening in her dragon form yet looked so beautiful in her human form. He wanted her to be in her human form but do not know if she would accept. She had a mind of her own and didn't do anything anybody asked.

The more he thought about it, the more he got confused about why she would stay in her dragon form. He was so curious that he couldn't stay silent anymore.

"Krystal?" He called with the extra sweetness that made the dragon cringe at him with her blinking eyes.

"Could you turn to your human form for a few minutes? I want to ask you something important!"

Grunting, she stood up and shook her head and body. Her scales started to fall off. Alex could feel sweat forming on his face.

Alex: "..."

So many scales?!

How would he beat them all up?

He felt the soreness coming his way!

An imaginary pain crept into both of his hands.

When he was in his future pain, he noticed that her scales began to form into her clothes which covered her body as she transformed.

"What do you want?"

"I cannot believe this. You remained mute for several days, and the only thing you ask is what do I want?"

"Why did you ask me to turn? Be quick! I don't want anyone else to see me in my human form!"

"Okay, okay." Alex shook his head. He was lost, staring at her beautiful face and skin. He had never been with a woman who was so pretty. "Why do you like being a dragon? Why don't you like your human form?"

"You can't be serious." Krystal groaned. "Is that what you wanted to ask?"

Alex nodded.

Krystal sighed. "I cannot believe this. Alex, the thing you want is to know why I am in my dragon form!? Being a human is not me. I am a dragon. That's like me asking why you choose to remain a human and not something else."

"It's nothing like that." Alex refuted. "I cannot be anything else other than a human. And if I could be something else, I would constantly be in different forms!"

"It's different for me. As much as I am powerful in my human form, I am limited by my appearance. More so, I am born as a dragon, and morphing into a human is just a gift."

"Then you don't like being human?"

"It's cool. But I feel more comfortable as a dragon. I can scare the likes of Marjun without having him drool over my beauty. Like you are doing now."

Alex scoffed and turned away. "Not that pretty." He murmured. It was a lie. She was way more than pretty!

"Suit yourself." Krystal shrugged. She somehow liked her human form. It gave her the freedom to prance around without alerting anyone. "It's beautiful being a human. But I can access my full prowess as a dragon than as a human. I hope you understand now."

Alex was a little taken aback by her explanation. He had never thought that her reason would be because she felt more comfortable in her dragon form than in her human form. He was amazed by Krystal's beauty.

Nevertheless, he understood why she refused to be in her human form. He realized that she was comfortable in her dragon form. It was her way of expressing her power and control. She had a deep connection to her dragon form and also something loves.

Alex was sad that she wouldn't be in her human form as he found her beautiful. But he also respected her decision and wouldn't dare have it another way.

"What will you do about Marjun?" Krystal asked Alex. "That man seems to me like a greedy one."

"Marjun is a pest. He thinks his wealth can turn the tables around. He lacks the bravery and perseverance required to serve you."

"And you do? You also seem greedy, Alex." Krystal said, rubbing her sword with the tip of her fingers.

"Of course, I never said I wasn't greedy." Alex rolled his eyes. "But I know where to draw the line."

"And you think, he doesn't know where to draw the line?" she questioned immediately.

"You know, if you want him to work for you, that's fine too," Alex said with a shrug. "I could just leave." He got up to prove his point.

Krystal chuckled. "Don't play that game with me, Alex. We need each other."

"I never had anything to lose, Krystal. So here's where you're wrong. I don't need anybody. Rather, everyone needs me." He said. "Everything is gain to me."

Krystal stared at him. "Everything?"

"Yes, everything," Alex responded.

"Even death?" She asked again.

"Even death." He affirmed. "See, I don't own anything. I don't have a family who would weep for me if I die. So, why should I see death as a loss?"

Krystal smiled a little. "I think I can spare a few minutes a day as a human to have a little conversation with you."

Alex smirked. "Now, that's because you don't want to die of boredom."

Krystal hit him with the handle of her sword. "Don't play games, My Boy, I know very well how to put you in pain."

Alex raised his hand in surrender. "I have to visit the king now. I need to make sure there are no issues in the village."

"Or do you want to receive your prize? I heard Marjun talking about it." Krystal said with a sly smirk. Alex didn't respond to her.

"Whatever floats your boat, Lady Dragon." He yelled as he left the cave.

"All I know is that I, Alexander with no last name, is not afraid of anything."

Those were his thoughts.

His belief.

His rule.

His guide.

Whenever he wants to do something, he reminded himself that even the risks he took were gains, and there was nothing like loss in his dictionary.

That made him... a free man.
