Chapter 189- Addie – A Call from Home (VOLUME 3)

**ADDIE'S POV**

I was just about to leave my office, to head out to dinner, when there was a slight trilling sound coming from my desk. I hadn't expected it, but I instantly knew what that sound meant. And there was just one person that it could be. Well, one of two people, and likely both.

I reached into the desk drawer to my right, the bottom one that was protected by magic. I pulled the mirror that was trilling and slightly vibrating, as I moved it to stand in front of me on the desk. Then, pouring magic into the mirror, I made the image appear.

"Hello, Callum." I said without even waiting to see who it was that was calling me. I knew for a fact that it was him.

"Addie!" He sounded excited, like he hadn't seen me in forever. "I missed you."

"I've only been gone for about two weeks." I laughed at him. "What do you need?"

"Do I need an excuse to call my little sister?" He pretended to look just slightly offended.
