***ADDIE'S POV*** 

The light shone brighter and brighter until it was almost too intense to bear. If this had been the first time I'd experienced something like this, I might have been upset about it, or maybe even frightened by it. However, it was just one of those inexplicable things that had seemed to happen to me several times over the years.

The others in the area had not been through something similar as often. Only Nolan and I stayed calm while the others began to panic from the intensity of the light. They shielded their eyes in an attempt to save themselves, but I knew we would be perfectly fine. Nothing would happen. Nothing at all.

"What's happening?"

"Oh, my eyes."
