A Heated Morning

The following few days were sort of bland, but also quite annoying, as Kane would still follow us everywhere. At least, wherever Leo goes, Kane would be there. Having a thorn stuck to my side is kind of annoying, but to make things worse, since Leo had invited Kane into the Student Council, the both of them would often times be alone within the Student Council room while I have my basketball practice at the gym.

By the end of basketball practice, I would see the both of them wait for me by the entrance of the school before all of us head towards Adrian’s house. Yes, Kane even managed to find an excuse to come to Adrian’s mansion with us. It seemed that he had a prior arrangement with Adrian’s father, allowing him to come to their house any time they want.
