The Night of Love

Rydel frowned as he saw what John said to make him laugh. Rydel didn't say anything and just waited until Rydel was done laughing. John's laughter went on for a while, too. You can also hear the water in the kettle gushing out. Rydel walked over to the stove and turned it off. John used a tissue to wipe the tears from his eyes.

"You might want to calm down."

John looked at the person talking but couldn't see his face because he was wearing a face mask and a hoodie. He could only see the person's eyes. Rydel was making coffee at the time. He put the spoon in the cup, put the cup on the saucer, and slowly drank the coffee.

"Huh, why are you so afraid of being known?" inquired John.

"You can't ask that, chief," Rydel said. "You only have to answer."

"Answer your stupid question," John told him. "I had no idea you were watching me. I thought you only cared about Zev and Jody's friends, but I've caught your attention."
