"Damn, is the rumor that Jody is your fiance true, dude?"
Because they overheard the conversation of the students, they met and saw. Everyone talks about the story Zev made up at the police station, but he doesn't know how it got to school that morning.
He ran into Kody and Tim in the hallway, and they immediately started asking him questions.
"Where did you get that info?" Zev asked.
"Well, that's what Chief John said to the faculty, as far as we know. They are investigating what happened last night when Jody and Brian were locked in the maintenance room," said Tim.
