All eyes were on Kross. The girls left Loel behind when they all left. That day, they had to go around.

"Well, that could only have been done by one creature. Weredragons," said Zev.

"Right," Jack replied. "If they were just regular people, they would surely be scared of the chief."

"Did you say that to Jody?" Drake asked.

"Just when we get home later." Zev turned around and saw where the weredragon had walked.

"Why does Jody care so much about the chief?" Jack cut off the tree branches that were getting in their way.

Zev explained, "Because she thinks she brought bad luck to Rivendell. Remember what you said to her?"

Jack gave his head a scratch. "I didn't mean it."

"Jeez, you mean it, dude..." Kross said.

"Why do you think I'd do that to Jody? I don't remember saying that, but if I did, I didn't mean it," Jack told us.
