I Missed You

"I thought we would do something different."

After they cleaned the whole house, they rested. Jody sat on the sofa while Zev had a pillow on her lap. They were watching a movie that afternoon. That's not what Jody expected Zev to do when he invited her to her house to clean up and watch movies. She was slightly disappointed and expecting more, but Zev had different thoughts.

"What do you mean by "other"?" Zev asked her. "Do you want to do something else?"

Jody didn't answer. She just frowned. Zev sat up and stared at Jody. "Stop staring," said Jody.

"Are you expecting us to..."

Jody's face turned red. "I don't expect anything."

Zev chuckled and smiled at her. "I want to do that too, love. I want to do it, but someone is watching us outside."

Jody frowned. "What?"

Zev glanced at the window. "He was there a while ago. I'm just not telling you because I don't want to..."

"Who is watching us?"
