5. Training

"System, put all of my attribute points into charm," Jyun says.

Attribute "Charm" went from 52 to 55 due to attribute points.

"What does it mean by 'due to attribute points'?" Jyun asks.

"Well Host, that would be because just like a muscle, the more you train it, the more it'll grow." the System explains.

"Can the same be said about skills?" Jyun asks again.

"Skills are something that you now have. If you practice, you'll get better." the System says.

"Only by three?" Jyun asks.

"I've deemed three to be a good amount." the System responds

"That makes sense," Jyun says, "So I should just train and play the piano?"

After which, Jyun goes and plays the piano until his mother calls him for dinner. It is odd because he's been playing for about 3 hours. Why hasn't it gone up?

"What's for dinner, eomma?" Jyun asks.

"The food I cooked," Hiah sarcastically responds. "The food right in front of you, fool." Now that he looks, he can see all the food on the table.

"Even I noticed that, Oppa," Chi-Yun says smugly.

"Chi-Yun! How many times do we tell you? You don't say Oppa you're not a girl." Hiah corrects.

"Oh! Sorry." Chi-Yun says. Afterwhich they have a fulfilling dinner.

After a while of hanging around with his family, Jyun goes back to his room.

"So I train now?" Jyun asks himself. He then goes and does 10 push-ups, "That was easy," Jyun says, "I guess I should continue?" Then he hits the 20 mark. It's not terrible, but it's starting to be bothersome. Then there's 30, his arms hurt now, just when he was about to hit 40.

Attribute "Strength" went from 28 to 29 due to personal training.

"Finally!" Jyun screams out, "I can stop," He then gets up. His arms lay limp at his side. As he lays down, he hears.

"It's advised to practice the piano, Host." the System says.

"I just want to sleep," Jyun says, then he remembers the quest. The faster he can finish it, the faster he can get those two levels.

He gets back up and walks to his new piano.

After 2 hours of practising,

Now he can finally rest.

A night later, Jyun wakes up nice and sore. "Ugh. This feels terrible." He says as he goes down for breakfast.

Once downstairs, he's pushed back upstairs by his mother.

"I didn't hear one bit of water. Go wash up, you stink." Hiah says.

Just as he finishes his breakfast, "Alright, come on," Hiah says, "You have school, you know." She says that and rushes him upstairs.

Now that he's alone in his room he checks his status.

"I gained exp?" Jyun asks.

"You gain exp naturally due to training," the System explains, "You also gain exp from ageing naturally." Now that he knows this. He feels the incentive to train 10 times as hard.

"How long does it take to change?" Hiah screams from downstairs. Within the 30 seconds he was given by the warning, he was downstairs and exiting the door by then.

"I had almost thought you forgot," Hiah says.

"I almost did, I was thinking about what we were going to do at school today." Jyun answers.

After a little bit of chatting, they leave for school.

Once arriving at the school he goes towards the entrance, but then he hears,

"Hey! New kid. Come here."
