Maria

Alexander blinked and looked at the woman in front of him. She had light blue and green hair tied up in a bun.

She smiled as she met his gaze and held out her hand for a handshake.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Maria. I teach your wife healing magic."

"I see... Nice to meet you too. I'm Alexander." He smiled and shook her hand, not denying the "wife" fact.

Victoria was naturally embarrassed but didn't say anything either. There was a strange atmosphere in the air, so Alexander smiled and spoke.

"How about we go to the cafe?"

"Sure." Maria smiled and then looked at Alexander's torn clothes and his injuries, chuckling. "But we'll patch you up first."

She put her hand on his head and a green light enveloped Alexander's body, instantly healing even serious injuries.

Alexander was pleasantly surprised when the pain was gone and he was back in peak condition.

"Thank you." He smiled and nodded.

"Always happy to help." Maria covered her mouth with her palm and giggled.

Alexander went into a separate room and changed his clothes. Together they left the building and headed in the direction of the cafe.

During this time Alexander noticed that the mood in town had returned to its usual state.

It seemed that the aftermath of the explosion hadn't affected the locals much. Well, Alexander understood why.

Such attacks were common, given the size of the Mortal World. Alexander sighed.

Getting used to the deaths and murders made Alexander worry about their future.

It feels as if they are already used to the fact that they will die. It's pathetic.

Alexander snorted, feeling annoyed. He understood that not everyone got such a thing as a system.

Though the number is small for him, he still had a bitter feeling left.

They spent the meeting talking, and eating various delicious dishes. Alexander learned a lot about Maria.
