Can I have your number?

"Celebrating a month and a week with you." Sezy clicked his glass with mine. Smiling at me, he took a sip of his drink.

" I can't believe it has been more than four weeks since I met you. " I drank from the sprite I ordered.

" Time sure does fly."

"That's true." I look at those happily dancing on the floor. Most of them have become familiar to me, but not to the extent I might recognize any of them should we have a chance to meet one day.

The mask we all have on our faces makes it so damn difficult to recognize anyone just from their build.

"Hi, can I join you?" Someone asked behind me.

Without turning, I already know who's beside me.

" You've already invited yourself, why should you ask such a question? " I turn to him in question.

Ever since the night we had our first talk, I've gotten to know Thor, but not as a friend.

Merely like an acquaintance.

"I'll be right back. Pretty over there has been looking my way ever since he came." Sezy points to the male I caught watching him on the day I spoke to Thor.

The two of them haven't started officially dating, but I can see that in the king run.

Don't ask how I knew of that, I just happened to know.

" Go on," I urge him toward the lonely looking male," he might die of boredom if you don't make an appearance." I smile at him.

"You sure you're going to be okay with him? " He gave Thor a look.

" Am sure. " Urging him towards his future boyfriend, I turn to Thor, who's currently sipping my drink.

" Hey! " I smack him on the head," are you insane? Why must you drink from the same cup! "I shout in exasperation.

I don't know what to say about him anymore.

" Your drink tastes a bit different from the others I've tasted," he smiles at me," sure you didn't out any love potion in it. "

" Yes, I did. I put love potion in it…."

" What?? "

" That's why I love myself," I laughed at how comical his face is.

*sigh*

Only if it's possible to see his full face. I can at least see the expressions he always has on his face when talking to me, especially during a time like this.

I would have liked to see the expression that might be on his face.

" For a minute there, I thought you were saying the truth." He exhaled.

"Rest assured, should I plan on love potioning anyone, you're not the first on my list, and neither will you be the last. You just won't be in it. " I smirk.

Should I come across a love potion, I'll likely make use of it on my husband, since he's the only male I love and will forever want as a lover.

" Why? You hurt my feelings, you know?" He asked in a grave tone.

" There's nothing to hurt Thor. The truth is already out there. You just met me, and there's no way for you to develop feelings for someone you just met. It's just not possible at all." I pat his arm," be text assured, your feelings are still intact. No one hurt you."

" Can't I pretend about that?" He frowned at me, pouting a bit, he takes a sip from my drink, and I allowed him.

After all, I'm not drinking from the bottle again, not when he drank from it.

There's no way I can drink from it. It looks rather too intimate to do so.

"Nah."

We talked of things not vital, and the important ones.

Thor was secretive when it comes to matters in his personal life, but when it comes to other aspects, he was willing to tell me everything I need to know about that particular thing I asked.

"Do you have a boyfriend or a significant other?" He asked.

My heart skipped a bit at his words. My mouth suddenly went dry as I felt my throat getting as parched as that of a person who doesn't take water at all.

Thor was watching me with the eye of a hawk as he tried to make sure my okay.

I took a large gulp of the water I ordered.

"Wow. This water is so, so refreshing." I turn the cup of water, smiling at Thor, I took another sip. "You know, there's a part of this world that doesn't have water as neat as this one."

" Which country?" He raised a brow in question.

And just like, I expertly changed the topic of discussion.

We talked of the few countries that are not yet fully developed, and those on their way to development, as we both drank from our cups.

"I had a nice time with you, thanks." I smile at him, "You made my night least boring."

Had Thor not made an appearance when he was needed, I would have spent the night sipping my sprite and mopping like a fool.

I Know Sexy would have kept me the company had I asked him to do so, but I can't beat the thoughts of separating him from his boyfriend.

I would rather not be a burden. I just want to enjoy the night with my Friend, but I know it'll be seen as greediness.

"Anytime." Thor smiled brightly, "whenever you feel bored, and you require someone to talk to, you can talk to me. I'm always available for you."

I imagined a wink coming up after that, based on the fact the words he said are ready winkable.

"Thanks, but I want to avoid being a burden."

It's good that I've gotten used to being alone to the extent I don't feel as noted as I felt when I got married to him.

Presently, I take the silence as a friend whose tongue was cut off.

"No, you're not. You see, I don't do anything aside from supervising my workers, and most times it's boring to do so." He brought out his phone from his pocket, "can I have your number?"
