A little prank doesn't hurt, does it?

Pop chuckled as I ran towards the stairs, and up to my room.

"I'm not going to check on my phone!" I shouted at the top of my voice before I banged the door behind me.

I headed straight to the table where I left my phone, and took it up.

True to what Pop said, there were messages from my husband and a missed call.

"He did call."

And now, I'm feeling as guilty as hell, for not answering my husband's call.

I called his line, and he picked up immediately.

It was as if he were expecting my call.

"You finally decided to call." He said the moment he answered my call.

"I'm sorry, I left the phone, and went downstairs with Marli."

"Is he back?"

"As if you don't know," I scoffed at him. "Who was it that asked her to prepare my favourite dish the moment she returned?"

"Oh, that's right," He chuckled.

"Why are you returning late, today? I thought you said you weren't doing much in the office, today?"
