_ Due’s Cute Crush

Due's blood ran cold at Barbara's guts.

"I'm not going to apologize for anything. You hurt my friend just because she was telling you the truth." She spat bitterly.

Barbara laughed menacingly. "Oh, yes, you will. You have no choice."

With that, Barbara hung up. Due sat in stunned silence for a moment, then turned to Lisa.

"She's waiting for me, Lisa. she'll make life a living hell for me after what happened. She won't let me go scot free!"

Lisa's eyes widened in fear. "Where are you going to go? That house?" she asked.

Due didn't have an answer. All she knew was that they had to get out of there soon. Even her resilient spirit would have its limits.

Just then, Due's phone rang again.

This time, It was another strange number that made Due frowned. This didn't look like any of Barbara's unsaved numbers.

"Who is it?" Lisa asked when she saw the frown on Due's face.
