"Knowing that Gawyn's attention would completely remain on her after her second child, I went to the black market and got hold of a colorless poison. It would dissolve a person's talent and destroy anything gestating. It did its job. Worked on her and that unborn child. I even gave it to you! But… somehow, you're still alive, just without your talent!"
Ardor got red eyed as he heard the story. He stared at the person who made him lose that potential maternal love he never felt.
In his past life, his apathetic parents, who didn't have a shred of love for him, shaped his apathetic, twisted self. He finally could have been loved, be cared for, but she took it away!
Ardor stood up and began hitting her right and left.
*Smack*x69
This continued until his palms were sweaty, knees weak, and arms heavy. His rage felt boundless at the moment, but he had to stop, for he didn't have enough strength to continue.
"Strength…" He murmured tiredly, sitting on the sofa behind him. Despite hitting her as much as he could, Ardor felt empty at the moment. He even felt like crying, though he held it in, not willing to show it to an enemy.
When he saw the puddle under Alse and her ahegao face, his rage once again rose, only this time, he was too fatigued to hit her.
Exhaustedly, he asked her, "How can I regain my talent?" Since she ruined it, he felt she might know how to fix it.
"Well, it's permanent destruction," Alse paused.
Before he became disappointed, she continued, "But there are natural treasures that can give you talent. If your body's talent capacity was of a filled vial after you were born, now that vial is empty so you can fill it up. You can either consume a treasure to get martial talent," her eyes brightened as she continued, "or the talent to become a Lord Mage."
"Okay." Ardor nodded and stood up. 'At least there's hope to personally slap that face and watch it fly away separate from her body, not see her drip fluids down there… Or there might be a better way to make her pay for the rest of her life…'
He saw the remaining time of her obedience.
[Status Effect (Obedience)
Alse - 00:04:45]
As he stepped aside to leave the room, he commanded her, "You will forget everything that happened here." He mischievously smiled. "You'll recall how you played with yourself, remembering your dead rival's son since your hubby left you dry."
Now even more excited, Alse nodded, beaming in happiness. "Okay! By the way, I remember there's a Soul Flower that'll raise anyone's aptitude as a mage to 'low.' It's at the same auction where Jeanne will be sold tonight."
Ardor smiled in hope and nodded. He now just had to earn enough money to buy her back and get that flower, and had a feeling his MHS would be of great help. At the entrance of Alse's room, he summoned his balance and was shocked at his updated LPs value.

He walked back to her and slapped her while looking at his balance LPs. Her body twitched.
'Wow! There's even a bonus for doing it to someone stronger! And it's the same double as a permanent harem member!'
After confirming an alternative method to earn LPs, he looked at Alse with some kindness. He hadn't forgotten how he had to spend 99 LPs because of her. 'Time for you to repay me.'
*Putch*
"Get rid of that dart," he ordered her while leaving the room, leaving behind Alse, who quickly tore her clothes while rubbing her nether region, soon gushing with fluid. Her moans resounded in the room and faded from Ardor's ears as the door closed behind him.
…
Ardor returned around 8 am, and there was still a long time left for the night to arrive, and Jeanne's auction. He sat in front of his worktable in his bedroom and took out a piece of paper, quill, and thought of putting down everything he knew to make a full proof plan.
Dripping the quill in the black ink bottle, he wrote MHS on the left side as a heading, and Saving Jeanne on the right. He wanted to write more, but then thought it was best if he kept these secrets in his mind. He thought of his Ultimate Mission, looking at MHS.
[Ultimate Mission: Have A Godly Harem
Introduction: Your sponsor embodies Lust. Build a strong harem, and gain his approval. You will then have repaid your debt to him and will attain freedom. You will also win his eternal friendship.
Condition 1: Get a minimum of 5 women of any race as Permanent Harem members with a Deity status or above
Condition 2: The women must never cheat on the host.
Condition 3: The women must not know their man has other lovers.
Duration: Lifetime
Reward: True Freedom (you will own the MHS), Eternal friendship of Lust.
Special penalty for failing condition 3: You will have to sacrifice a part of your body (like your limbs, torso or head) to get another chance. Having more than 5 permanent harem members will negate condition 3.
Overall Penalty: If you die before completing this mission, your soul shall burn in Eternal Godly Flame till the end of time.
Note: You can designate 'Temporary Harem' members with their permission to see their qualifications. Raise their loyalty. When it reaches 100%, you can move them to 'Permanent Harem' members and their loyalty will be fixed so you can rest assured that they will think of you before themselves.
Remarks: This is the ultimate challenge for any man with a harem. Prove to me you can do the impossible.]
'So, I have that Ultimate Mission telling me to create a godly harem to complete and Jeanne is the first of the 5 women of my harem, so I can't lose her. Then there's the thing about not letting Jeanne cheat with anyone, which I think she wouldn't do, anyway. Finally, there's that absurd condition 3 with its specific penalty…'
He kept thinking about a solution for that condition, but realized any conventional method would be useless. Then he remembered the initial solution he had devised while remembering that silly, tragic ninja from an anime he loved watching.
'But how do I apply that?'
Then he looked at his MHS. After all, that was the only unconventional thing he had. He kept thinking, and some time went by.
"Right!" A light bulb lit in his mind as he smiled with satisfaction. "I can do it this way!"
But he thought of some issues and remembered he didn't like wearing a green hat like a certain Flame Patriarch. He wanted to use the clones as a solution, not a source of humiliation.
'After all, I want permanent clones, not shadow ones that'll expire,' he thought.
After looking at his Ultimate Mission, his Status and the details of his Custom-Made Items feature, he reached a plausible solution.
'Let's hope this works…'
He looked at the only option in his MHS that could make it happen and immediately went for it. Selecting Custom-Made Items, he entered the Custom Creation Room.
After blacking out for a second, he appeared in a starry space, with emptiness surrounding him. Colorful stars filled the horizon, but he had a feeling he'd never reach them, no matter how hard he tried.
In the real world, Ardor's body immediately went limp. It appeared as if he fell on his desk asleep.
A timer on a blue screen lay in the top right-hand corner of his vision.
"So, I've got 10 minutes here, huh? It should be enough for this."
He looked at the empty space and controlled himself to move with his thoughts. After getting used to the place, he noticed the timer had less time remaining on it than expected. He remembered the Custom-made Item's description.
[Custom-Made Items
Use: Create anything you can imagine at the cost of your LPs.
Restriction 1: Your duration in the Custom Creation Room depends on your mental strength.
Restriction 2: You cannot bring something that'll cost more than your balance LPs into existence.
Restriction 3: Anything you create can be normally devoured to get a full refund of LPs, and any items invested or sacrificed. But any normal item you buy from the Store will only give you 90% of its LPs upon devouring it.
Note: Special things can be added with your LPs to bring about unexpected effects.
Remarks: The world is your oyster with this one.]
"Does moving around consume mental strength?" he murmured in doubt, despite understanding it was most likely true.
"Let's do this!" he focused his gaze. "First, create a potion or skill that'll let me do Parallel Thinking, or think and do two things at the same time. Use my memories to understand what I mean."
