Chapter 65

Hamlin let out an exasperated sigh. He was exhausted. Not only physically but mentally too.

He was stressed and depressed and nothing was going right.

Nothing was going according to plan. Rufus was not fully healed.

An area on his back and the back of his legs weren't fully healed from the burns as well as a few of his bones were still loose. Rufus had refused to drink the blood to the last of it's drops.

He had actually gagged and they stopped afraid that he was going to throw up the little blood that he had drunk.

Their blood was acting really slow on him. Something that they were not expecting.

They had expected for it work with immediate effect on the whole body even with the little blood that he had drunk. Aisha's hope diminished.

This was not fair at all. Life was not fair nor was fate.

"It should have worked on the whole body even with the little blood he drunk right?" She inquired.
