Chapter 277

Lucky kept his one eye on the men at the bar. They all turned to face the bar, to drink as they continued to talk. They were acting as if they had been put in pause before and now, they had been set to continue playing.

Daniel, Minerva and Ram came back and took their seats. Beth came back moments later and introduced herself again.

"We'll have a burger and fries." Daniel concluded, seeing to it that no one else spoke.

"And chicken nuggets too." Ram added as the waitress wrote their orders down on her small notebook.

"Anything else?" Beth asked, looking up at them.

"We need to go, I don't feel safe here." Lucky mindlinked all of them. He could feel something unusual... an unsettling feeling that made him uncomfortable.

"Yes, do wrap them for us." Daniel answered Beth who had her brows furrowed for a second before she nodded in agreement and left their table.
