Ram walked back to where the torch stick was but saw nothing, outside the nightwing's was not as dark, so he could at least see what was around him. He went by the rock that he had fallen over on but the torch was not there.

With his brows furrowed, he wondered whether he was seeing right or not. He was certain of himself that the torch was supposed to be there but alas, it wasn't.

He dropped on his knees, and searched with his hands, maybe his eyes had missed it, but the torch was still there and his hands could find it... that was what he thought...

Shadow chuckled to himself, watching what the human was doing and yet the torch was just there within his reach, Shadow had made it kind of invisible.. not entirely invisible.. just enough to make the torch blend in perfectly with the night, it was not his fault that the human couldn't see in the dark.

Perhaps, this was his new hobby? To play with the minds of mere human beings?
