Chapter 7

Olive was in the living room when they got home, they asked what she was there and she replied that she came to check on Rhoda to see if she had fully recovered, Rhoda was happy Olive came to visit because she thought that after yesterday's incident Olive wouldn't want to be friends with her buh it was quiet the opposite. The twins were happy that Olive and Rhoda were getting along very well. The two ladies went to Rhoda's room and did lot of stuffs together.

They came downstairs laughing and chatting as if they've been friends for a very long time, Olive told Rhoda that she had to get back to the hotel she was staying in since it was getting late, Rhoda asked why she was staying in a hotel and she told her that the apartment she bought when she got here was currently being renovated so until then she would live in a hotel , Rhoda told her that she can live with her till her apartment has been well furnished, she refused to accept not because she didn't want to but because she didn't want to be a burden but Bismark and Bernard assured her that staying with Rhoda won't be a burden so she agreed to move in in two days time and assured them that she wouldn't stay for more than a month, aftertheur chit chat, the twins took Olive home and also went home. Rhoda counted that day as one of the happiest day of her life excluding the part where they run into Derrick. Her dad later came to say goodnight to her and also went to his room.

The next morning, when Derrick woke up ,he went downstairs where breakfast had already been served, they were even about to call him downstairs when he came himself, his dad and sister were already at the dining table waiting for him , he wasn't his usual self because he normally wakes up early and help with the cooking since he us a great cook, his dad asked what was wrong but he didn't respond, his dad asked again cause he noticed that since he came back with his sister from the park yesterday his mood had changed, Angela then remembered what happened yesterday when they both went to the park and told their dad about it . Mr Rockson asked if they told Rhoda they were siblings but they said they didn't. Mr Rockson asked if Derrick still loved Rhoda , he said he did and had never stopped loving her his dad wasn't surprised since everything showed, he couldn't even eat he just stared at the food and stood up from the table, he huffed his sister and went to his restaurant and for the first time he didn't help with the cooking he just went to his office sat down and cried his heart out,his workers were getting worried for him since he had been in there for about 3 hours without food,they decided to call his sister Angela since he listens to her and Obviously loved her more than anything, 15 minutes after the call Angela arrived at the restaurant, she went straight to his office and hugged him tightly, they both were crying when the hugged, everyone was sad for Derrick even though they didn't understand why tears were flowing from his eyes, his workers loved him alone since he was a good man and quite handsome. Angela took him to her car and sent him home, when they got there Mr Rockson wasn't around, he had already gone to work , they sat in the living room and Angela asked Derrick why he was like that, he replied that the love he has for Rhoda is driving him crazy and he can't stand always seeing her with those two guys cause he feels that they both also love her, Angela asked why he would say something like that cause as far as she remembers they are both her bestfriend and it's all over the media. Derrick said as a man he knows when a fellow man is in love and he can tell that both of them loves Rhoda from the way they look at her. Angela told Derrick to go see Rhoda and talk it over with her again and maybe this time she would give him a chance, Derrick replied that he thinks Rhoda dislikes him and wouldn't even allow him to come near her again and moreover her bestfriend's are always with her, Angela convinced him to give it a try and he promised to do it. Angela wanted to make him laugh so she cracked a joke forgetting that Derrick is more funnierthan her and before they realised they were both cracking jokes and laughing at it themselves, Angela was really happy seeing her brother return to his usual self.

Rhoda went to the office quite early than usual since she had been absent the past few days, Dina updated her on everything that happened the previous days and and also told her about some meetings she missed the couple of days ago but had been rescheduled to the next day, Rhoda while working was thinking about yesterday's incident with Derrick, she couldn't get it out of her mind for reasons she herself didn't know but still managed to concentrate somehow. During lunch break, she got a call from Olive inviting her to some restaurant claiming the food there was heavenly Rhoda told her she had a lot to do buh Olive promised it won't take long so Rhoda agreed, Olive sent her the location right away and it was quite close to her company, it was a 20 minute walk away from her office buh she went with her car since she was exhausted, Olive saw Rhoda's car in a distance so she went out to meet her, when the two went inside Rhoda scanned through the menu not sure what to other so the waitress suggested giving her the chefs speciality ,few minutes later the food arrived, with the first bite her lips curved into a smile ,she was quite impressed. After eating Rhoda decided to go back to the office while Olive also said she had something to do so they both paid and made their way out ,Just when they went out they met Derrick and Angela also coming in, are you by and chance stalking me? Rhoda asked Derrick.
