Chapter 5

Surprisingly she was already conscious so they all couldn't understand why she didn't bother to call them , Bernard with guilt and a little anger went closer and asked why she left their side when she had no car and money on her neither her phone, and what if something more serious had happened to her. The doctor heard the noise from outside and asked them to not stress her since it might affect her head injury incase she cries , while talking Mr. Samuel entered , he got furious when he saw Rhoda's state and asked why she left the twins' side, the doctor told Mr. Samuel to calm down because he also has a daughter who doesn't seem to stop giving him troubles. Bismark gently sat by her side, took her hands in his and asked why she left their side when she had no means of transportation, instead of answering she began shedding tears it seemed like she wasn't ready to talk so the doctor as that they leave her alone for now so she can rest for a while. Mr. Samuel and Bernard obliged but Bismark was a little hesitant but the doctor convinced him and he eventually gave in but not without glaring at the doctor. After they all left, the doctor told Rhoda to stop crying so as not to affect her injury ,he told her to rest and also went out. The doctor told Mr. Samuel and the twins not to worry too much cause she would be fine and also told them to avoid asking too many questions since she was not in the right state of mind to talk. After some minutes Bernard saw how frustrated and tired Mr. Samuel looked so he convinced him to ho home and rest. After he left the twins decided to check up on Rhoda , when they got inside she was asleep so they both sat by her and decided to take a little nap till Olive barged inside and with the noise from her hill everyone woke up except Rhoda, Bismark was surprised to see Olive since he didn't call her but Bernard saw his confussion and told him he called her, Olive saw how sad Bismark was and seeing a lady on the sick bed asked if she was Rhoda , apparently while abroad the twins never missed a day without talking about her. Olive couldn't stand seeing Bismark sad since she fell in love with him while abroad and even confessed publicly but Bismark privately rejected but everyone else assumed they were together because of how close they were. Olive hugged Bismark to comfort him and before he could let go Rhoda woke up, Bismark quickly let go of Olive to ask Rhoda how she was but he ignored him and asked to see the doctor, Bismark quickly went out and called the doctor in, Olive also asked if she was okay which she responded by nodding, when the doctor arrived he asked how she was and she told him she was okay and would love to go home , the doctor objected but Bismark knowing how much Rhoda despised being at the hospital convinced the doctor and he finally gave in, they made preparations for her to go. Bernard then called Mr. Samuel and told him that Rhoda would be coming home soon. He quickly went to the kitchen to prepare Rhoda's favourite meals, he was done in about 30minutes time and just as he finished serving it on the table the twins came in with Rhoda and Olive. When they entered, Mr. Samuel hugged Rhoda and asked if she was fine , she smiled, hugged him back and said she was sorry for making him worried about her and also said not to blame Bismark and Bernard because it wasn't their fault, her dad told her to forget everything and made her sit at the dinner table ,when they all sat down Bismark smiled and said he feels like they were having a family dinner just without their parents though but Mr. Samuel looked at him then Olive and asked if he was sure, Rhoda said she wasn't surprised Bismark said that since Olive might become family soon, her father couldn't understand so he asked why and Rhoda replied that when she went to the office she did a little research about Olive because she looked familiar and later realized that she is a model but what baffled her was that she and Bismark were a couple, Bismark almost choked on his food ,the twins and Olive wondered how Rhoda jumped into such conclusions. Mr. Samuel couldn't believe it because he thought both twins were yearning for Rhoda's love. Bismark stood up and told Bernard to send Olive home first so he could explain everything to Mr. Samuel and Rhoda but Rhoda told Olive to stay. Olive then said she would rather explain everything to them ,she told them that because of her profession her personal life was even private to the media since paparazzi follows her almost everywhere but not all they publish are true and she admitted that she loves Bismark but it was one sided love cause he always gave the excuse that his heart already belonged to someone else but he never revealed to her who that lady was, Bismark quickly stopped Olive from going further and said that he has never been in a relationship with any woman and also never has he lied to Olive before so he is really disappointed in her judging him too quickly, he went out with Olive after talking. Rhoda ,feeling guilty also run upstairs but Bernard followed her. Mr. Samuel not knowing what to do decided to leave them to solve their own issues so he also went to his room to rest. Rhoda began crying again, Bernard felt sad seeing her like this so he sat down and comforted her, she turned to face him and said she was sorry for acting that way but she just couldn't go through the pains she went through when they left, she thought they would forget her since Olive had arrived, Bernard hugged her promised her that they would never be separated again, he gently made her stop crying and allowed her to sleep peacefully. Bismark on the other hand was still driving with Olive, she tried talking to him to slow down but he looked angry and kinda defeated, Olive knew he needed time to sought things out so she told him to drop her infront of the hotel so he could also rest which he did.
