Jayden meets Cassie

But before Jennifer could do anything, Elina came running back with a stick, who knows where she picked it from! She started to hit and chase Jayden around.

"What the hell! Why are you hitting me! Stop it right now! How dare you? I am the chairman of this college. I can stop you from getting graduated!"

Whatever Jayden shouted did not stop Elina from hitting him. Jennifer stood in one place and just watched him get thrashed. She did not show even slightest pity or even had any intention to stop Elina.

"You deserve to be killed. I am just showing you mercy by just hitting you" Elina shouted.

Cassie, who was passing by, heard that sentence and came towards them in a hurry.

"Who do you think you are? Who gave you permission to decide if someone needs to be killed or not? Who gave you that right?"

Cassie pulled the stick and threw it far away.

"Aren't you the one who jumped on our chairman and raped him? Didn't you say that yourself to me? How dare you point your fingers at him when you are just a rapist" Cassie screamed at Elina.

"That's enough. This matter is between us there, you have no right to interfere in our personal matters. Now just get lost from here. Didn't you say you do not want to see or talk to us? Then what are you doing now? You better run away, before I break your legs for hurting Elina before." Jennifer said while getting ready to throw a punch at Cassie.

Jayden, who looked at Cassie in amusement, felt like he was looking at someone with a similar face as his mother. Even though she did not resemble his mother completely, she had more than a slight resemblance. But before he could even ask her name, she turned around angrily and left that place.

"Yes, that was true! I forced myself on you. How can I blame you for anything in that matter? It was all my fault. I don't deserve to live anymore. I better die." Elina slipped down and started to cry.

"Shh… Do not cry. It is definitely not your fault. If it is anyone's fault it is this guy's. Do you think if he actually did not allow it to happen in the first place, you would have even able to touch a hair on his body? Definitely not! So do not blame yourself for someone's mistake. And for a girl to rape... I mean it's not even possible. Think about it, guys have more strength and looking at your small size, do you even think you are capable of lifting even his hands?" Jennifer glared at Jayden.

Jayden was just imagining his brother being crushed by a small ant. He got kicked on his leg by Jennifer and fell down while groaning in pain. What is with him and these ladies? They all are hitting him, however, they are pleased.

He just rolled his eyes at Jennifer. Jennifer rolled her sleeves and prepared to punch him, but before that he said,

"Yes it is not possible for a lady to rape a guy. Until or unless he allows her to do so! It looks like I allowed you to do that to me. So do not cry, I won't leave you as it is! I will take good care of you as well... Everything will be alright. Do you want candy?"

"Do you have one?" Elina asked shamelessly.

"I do have many candies, which one do you like?"

Jennifer looked at these two fools and wanted to smash them under her feet. Totally forgetting her, they started to enjoy the candy. Thankfully, at that time the nurse came and looked at them in awe.

"I know! You do not have to say anything! I understand you completely. I came with Elina to get her wound checked. Can we come in?"Jennifer asked.

"Ok! But it looks like it is not a big injury or else she would not be so busy with eating candy on her graduation gown. Bring her in, once she is done with her 'Candy'." Nurse Mala said and went inside the room.

Jennifer smiled and once the nurse disappeared from her sight, her face became vicious. She pulled the candies from Jayden's hand and dumped them in the trash bin nearby.

"Why are you taking away, only mine, and not hers?" Jayden complained.

"Didn't you say it is the wife's duty to maintain an image for her husband? I just did that. Now get up and shoo away. Shoo...Shoo..." Jennifer muttered.

Then she turned towards Elina and said, "You! Get up right now. The nurse is back! Let us go and get your wound checked up before it gets infected. And for my sake, just dump those candies. Please!"

Before going into the room, She turned her head towards Jayden who was still loitering around that area. She then asked him, "Are you staying back after the ceremony? I need to talk to you about something."

"I am always available for your twenty-four by seven. But if we are going to talk about why I slept with your best friend, then I think we had already discussed that. Let us just forget about that once and for all from today onwards. Believe me, I will never ever cheat on you!"

Jennifer just shook her head unbelievingly and entered the infirmary. So, however she asked, he would not accept that he was not the one who slept with Elina. Rather, he would take the blame for his brother and would even lie to her about such a scandalous thing. She should definitely appreciate his love for his brother.

Should she just apply for a divorce using this reason? I think it will make it even easier with such a husband who just says openly that he cheated on his wife on the first day of marriage? Wow... Really I got into one scandalous marriage.

"So, how did you get hurt?" The nurse Mala asked Elina.

"I was feeling dizzy and before I could take support my head hit the bathroom wall" Elina lied.

"But the wound on your head looks like it was caused by someone intentionally. It is like you were intentionally pushed towards the wall with extreme force. Are you sure it was you, who hit the wall by accident?"

"How can anyone hurt such a lovely looking girl? Look at me how beautiful I look! Can you please do not put a bandage over my head? I have yet to attend my graduation ceremony and I do not want to look like a person who just got discharged from a hospital. Please! Pretty please!" Elina asked while lifting her chin up with both her hands.

"You are a beauty, I must accept. But beauty always brings danger along with it. So be careful next time. Do not let anyone hurt you, ever again"

Mala warned and let go of her, after disinfecting the wound and put some slight medicine where she hurt her head.

Elina arranged her hair properly to avoid anyone noticing the wound even by mistake. When she touched the injured part, it hurt a lot. But she just gave a twisted smile and escaped out of the room before she would be bombarded with multiple questions.

"Do not worry! I will take care of her from now on" Jennifer assured Mala, who looked at Elina anxiously.

"I do not know what happened to her but I know that she is a kind lady. She once helped my kid who was lost on this campus, when I brought him here for the first time. So, I remember her well. Take good care of her and make sure to remind that she should not let the injured part get wet at least for a few weeks."

"I will. Thank you!" Jennifer said.

"It's all my pleasure and please do not thank me as it is my duty."

Jennifer smiled at Mala and left to find Elina. Their graduation ceremony will start in ten minutes and Jennifer was yet to get ready. They rushed towards the back room to dress up.

Once they were ready, Elina said she would go and meet her dad first. Jennifer was left alone in that room. Jayden, who was just waiting for this opportunity entered the room. He locked the door before walking towards her.

"If you try anything funny, you know by now, what I would do to you? Why are you even here? Didn't we agree that we would meet after the ceremony?" Jennifer enquired.

"Yes, we did. But I wanted to see you first before anyone else can, in your graduation gown. You look stunning! I would like to..." Before Jayden could finish, Jennifer interfered.

"Ok! Now that you have seen me, then it is time for you to get out. There might be students who might want to do last-minute touch-ups. So just go away. We will anyways meet later."

"I know! I know! I am going away. Do not fret! Relax! I know it is your big day and all. But remember, I am always there for you!"

All of a sudden, he took a red rose from behind and gave it to her. Then before she could realize what had happened, he kissed her on her forehead and ran away.

"You…You… You..." Jennifer shouts hits the closed door and bounced back to her as Jayden left banging the door in a hurry.
