Elina finally meets Jennifer but...

After being held captive for the past three days in that room, finally, Aiden came back to inform Jennifer that he will drop her off to college. All her three meals were served in her room without fail at the exact time every day.

Sam even asked her favorites and asked the kitchen to prepare them after noticing that she did not prefer to eat the food which Elina liked to eat. He just shook his head after realizing that his boss is too weird.

How can he treat both the ladies so differently? For one, he would send his whole team to just get her location while the other he did not even try to know if she is doing ok?

Once Sam left the room, Jennifer immersed herself in thoughts of what had happened to her at the moment when she stabbed Jayden. She just got afraid that her old issues are coming back all at once. Should she contact the psychiatrist who her mother introduced?

If Jennifer did contact the psychiatrist, then her mother would know something is wrong! After thinking for a while, she decided against it and picked her phone to give her parents a call.

The phone rang for a long time but no one picked it up. She kept trying for a few minutes but every time, it reached the voicemail. After taking a deep breath, she tossed the phone back on the table.

She decided that if they saw so many missed calls from her, then they would definitely get back to her. She picked her book to immerse herself in studying rather than thinking about that stupid man, Jayden.

She did not realize when she slept, but by the time she woke up it was already three in the morning and her phone was ringing repeatedly. She picked up her phone in a hurry and said, 'Hello'.

"Dear, how are you doing?", Jayden's weak voice came from the other end.

She pulled the phone away from her ears to check the number. When she saw it was some unknown number, she disconnected the call. The phone rang once again, this time she cut the call without even picking it up.

When it rang for the third time, she picked the call immediately and barked, "Who the hell are you? Why are you disturbing me? Just pray that I don't find where you live or else…!!"

Before she could even finish her father's voice said in a hurry, "Baby! What happened? Do you not want to talk to me? I am sorry, I betrayed you! But I definitely did not mean to, it was all your mother…"

"What are you saying? Isn't it you who put the notice in the first place? How can you blame me? Get out of the room, right now!" Jennifer heard Lisa shouting at the other end.

To make them stop quarreling, she raised her voice on the phone and said, "Dad! Mom! Both of you stop fighting and listen to me"

But even after shouting like that, no one was interested in listening to her and she just kept quiet while listening to their parent's quarrel. Even after waiting for five minutes, seeing that they are not ready to talk to her, she just disconnected the call.

After ten minutes, her mom called and said, "I am sorry, dear! Your father is still not manageable and his childish behavior has grown to new heights now. So, tell me first how is your new married life? Is there any progress? How is your sex life? Let me know if you need any advice! I couldn't even talk to you properly before sending you off to your in-law's place"

"Mom, stop! I called you to inform you that Jayden got hurt…"Jeniffer started but before she could even finish, Lisa interrupted.

"Jayden already called us and informed what had happened and told us not to worry. Even though he sounded slightly weak, he said everything is fine and they caught the culprit. He assured your father like hundred times that you both are completely fine and there is definitely nothing to worry."

Jennifer wondered why her mom said he sounded weak? Didn't she just meet him a few hours ago and he was full of behaving like a strong bull? In which angle did he look weak? He and his acting really deserve some huge award.

Seeing that Lisa was not getting any response from her daughter, she repeatedly said many Hello's on the call…

Jennifer came out of Jayden's thoughts, said in a hurry, "Looks like there is some connectivity issue, I will call you back in the morning. It is almost three O'clock here. I am still sleepy."

"Ok! Sleep, my dear baby. Sorry, I called you so late! Oh! One more thing, do not worry about Jayden. In this line of work, I do not have to tell you but we have to be always prepared. Good thing, Jayden was there to protect you, or else we do not know what could have happened to you. Good night, darling!"

Lisa disconnected the call after saying this. Jennifer could not understand what his mother said in the end. Did Jayden just cover whatever she did and tried to create a story to hide it from her parents? She laid down on her bed and continued her sleep. But her thoughts were now filled with Jayden and he continued to torment her even in her dreams.

For the next two days, Aiden did not visit Jennifer and let her be. On the day of her exams, he barged in without even knocking the door. Jennifer, who just came out after getting dressed fully stared at him but did not say anything as she already got used to Jayden invading her space all the time without letting her know in advance.

But this time she felt even more irritated looking at his face. Where are his manners, what did his parents teach him? Doesn't he know how to treat a lady?

Irritatingly she said, "Please do knock on the door before you enter. I know this is your place but still, I am the one staying in this room for the time being. Don't you know it is not proper to barge into a room without knocking? How will your parents react when they know how you are treating a lady?"

"Goodness, my parents are not alive to see all this! You must be happy to know about it, aren't you?" Aiden said sarcastically.

Jennifer was shocked to know that he did not have anyone but the way he mentioned it made her angry. Why would she be happy for him to not have any parents? Before she could argue with him, Aiden said,

"If you do not get ready and come out in five minutes, I can promise you that you won't graduate this year"

After saying those words, he left without waiting. Jennifer hurriedly took her bag and chased after him. The whole journey towards her college went in silence.

When they reached the college, Jennifer got down from the car and without even saying a word she left. Elina who was waiting for Jennifer saw her getting down from Aiden's car and Elina's heart wrenched in pain.

She just stared at Aiden and Aiden stared back at Elina. Both of them continued to look at each other without saying anything. When Elina noticed Jennifer walking past her without even looking at her, she chased after Jennifer in a hurry.

She twisted her legs and fell down. Aiden who watched all this emotionlessly jumped down from his car and came to help Elina. But Jennifer was faster and rushed towards Elina. Jennifer helped her up and even bent down to check if she got any scratches.

Aiden just stopped in his tracks and tightened his fists. He turned around and left while driving his car at high speed.

Elina hugged Jennifer and said, "You are back! Please do not leave me, I am afraid that once you got a boyfriend you would forget about your old friends!"

Jennifer just pushed her away and walked towards the exam hall. Elina followed behind while talking some nonsense and trying to hide her sadness.
