Chapter 07

The wind began to blow hard. The sky started to become dark. We are both stunned by this sudden change. We heard a voice that was summoning me. I looked at Elijah with fear as he held my hands tightly.

"Don't worry, babe, just hug me and close your eyes," he said as the ground opened up and swallowed us whole. It started to suck the air forcefully. When we both tried to run into our home, because of my clumsiness, I fell down into that hole.

"Tina..." he called my name and jumped with me too.

After a blackout, I woke up in my room in the real world. As soon as I opened my eyes, I searched for Elijah as Madison opened the room door.

"Where is Elijah?" I asked her as she smirked at me.

"Oh, you want to know?" Where is your lover? " She asked me

"Madison, if you lay your finger on him, the consequence will be dangerous for you. So you better leave him alone. " I warned her. But she didn’t seem affected by my warning . She wants to play with me by keeping Elijah.

"What if I kill him or"? While she was talking, I strangled her.

"If you touch him, you will see another me.. Be careful." I was warned.

Someone opened the door to my bathroom. I turned to see who it was. It was Elijah. I ran towards him and hugged him. I happily cried, "I thought, She caught you." I said while sobbing.

"I’m alright, Valentina. Where are we?" He asked me as I stood in shock because Elijah never called me Valentina.

"What happened? Valentina.. You are looking so shocked." he asked me. I took my hands from him and stood away.

"Who are you?" I asked him with a long face.

"I’m your Elijah Valentina. Did you forget me? " He asked me nervously. I slapped him,

"You thought I wouldn’t find out that you are not Elijah? Or did you think you could pretend to be Elijah? " I asked him as he stood silently.

I turned towards Madison. "Where is my Elijah?" I asked her, but she laughed at my state.

"Madison I’m warning you that I will go to any extreme for Elijah. So better tell me where he is. " I warned her, but she kept ignoring my warning.

"Madison, you know that I’m not a smooth person or the pitiful type" I literally yelled at her and grabbed her hair and dragged her into my room.

"If you don’t tell me, where is Elijah?" I'm not going to let you go." I started to beat her.

"You are crazy, Valentina. Leave, madam Madison! " Fake Elijah yelled. I kicked him in his mouth...

"Valentina, you are going overboard; leave me." Madison said

"I won’t until you tell me about Elijah." I said as I continued to talk.

"Do you know? Why is he important to me? Do you know how many times I've been sick since my mother left me? My dad won’t even take care of me. I have been standing alone and longing for love since my mom died. Do you know how much pain I’m going through? Thanks to you, I met Elijah. Even he won't let me face my nightmare alone. Now I will stop everything and won't even bother you hereafter. But please tell me... where is Elijah? " I almost cried.. and hoped she would say where Elijah was.. but she didn’t even give a shit... I was losing my mind.

"Valentina, I know you have been suffering and Elijah is the one for you. But what are your thoughts? I will tell you where he was and let you guys be together. Fuck off. You are suffering because of me. I’m the one who always makes you cry. Then how will I stop this? You stupid bitch." She laughed at me.

"What do you want from me?" I asked her dryly.

"I want your life. Will you give me that? But you have to do that with all of your heart, "she said as I stood numb.

"I know you won't." While she was talking, I cut off her sentence. I said, "If you let him go and make him happy, I will do whatever you want."

"Good then," she said, and left.

As for the coming day, I stayed in my room. My dad didn't even come and see if I was alive or not. How come he knows that I’m here? I thought about it, but did he know I had been missing those days? I smiled drowsily, looking at the sky.

"Mom, you should’ve taken me with you. See, now I’m suffering and my love is in her hand. " I said as I looked at the sky... I haven’t even eaten anything for days, and my stomach feels numb at this point. Why is God so unfair to me? Am I that unlucky? Or am I a bad person? I questioned myself.

I heard a door opening sound. I turned to see who it was. It was Madison.

" I know, you don’t like to see my face, but you have to eat something because" While she was talking, I cut off her sentence.

"Because I have to be alive until your rituals. Right? " I smiled dryly.

"At this point, I want you to do your ritual as soon as you can," I said as she left the plate at my side table and went outside. I let out a sigh and took that food to eat. A strong smell of blood is coming from the plate. I couldn’t even take a bite from that plate. When I tried, the plate faded away.

I don’t understand anything. Again, I went near the window and watched the stars. Suddenly, the stars started to move. I tried to clear my vision and saw the stars again. The stars are still moving. Oh my goodness. What the fuck is happening here? I thought to myself. Stars gathered together like sentences saying "DON’T GIVE UP, FOLLOW HER" as I heard some weird noise through my window. When I moved the flower pot, I saw Elijah was standing, but he was so small, more likely cup size. My eyes went wide. I think maybe this is also a Madison trick.
