Her wound

Rishi took the file from Navi's hold. Collecting all important files in one place, he brought three files which Pearl had given him from the drawer earlier, to her side.

Standing beside her, he said the first thing to explain some doubts. "Now Mr. Yohaan and Mr. Jonas, though you are against my boss, she doesn't care because you are good for this company's growth. The only fault is your ambition, which she doesn't care about. So worry not, she meant it when she said no hard feelings."

Saying that he took a pause in his speech and said the good news his boss worked for. "For the rest of the people who supported us, we have good news for us."

Beckoning his assistant, Rishi told them to give a copy of those files he brought with him, to every other director. The folder, which he was carrying, he proudly passed it to Ajay.

"Please take your time and read it. We are not in a hurry." He said but the moment Pearl gave him a look he started speaking again. "Actually let's not waste time. As you can see The Three golden projects from the government, which were in news from many days, is actually acquired by our company through the legit competition, participated by Miss Pearl on behalf of SI. Not to mention the proof and the authorisation is also in your folders."

"..."

"..." There was a sudden silence in that room. No body said anything. No body looked up from their folder either. As if cat got their tongue. They couldn't bring themselves to say a word until Ajay exclaimed.

"What!" Ajay exclaimed in surprise.

Jonas's eyes widened in surprise too. "They all are government projects. When did our company acquire them?"

"A week ago. It was personally won by Miss Pearl." Rishi instantly replied.

While working on projects given to her by SI Pearl had to make a presentation for the other three projects for which the government was looking for potential candidates. Because of that she hardly had any time for herself.

From SI and Morgans, managers were also competing for it, but after spending her day and night making the presentation for it, Pearl was able to acquire all three of it all by herself. Although she planned to work on it later, Rishi decided to tell others today. Watching others doubting her capability, again and again, he decided and forced Pearl to present her gift to everyone right away anyway.

"Pearl, why didn't you tell me?" Ajay asked.

"You were already busy with your stuff." She simply replied.

While they were talking, those bodyguards still held Navi in his place. Although he was standing, he wasn't allowed to go outside the hall. To hold Navi back, Pearl didn't allow anyone to go back.

All five of them saw the project on screen too. The more they read about it the more they regretted it. And why not.

After acquiring such a project, it was given that SI shares will grow with rocket speed. With Pearl's capability, they also knew that they lost in a big way.

Once the news of SI working on those governments will go out, the success rate and the resources will be affected in a good way. The loss they faced today was too much to hold for them.

While they were talking about the projects, suddenly a group of cops barged in. All the directors stood up at once worriedly.

Rishi raised his hands to stop all the directors from speaking. "Do not worry people, they are here for us."

All the directors around the table felt relieved instantly.

"Miss Pearl." Cops greeted her.

"Take them away." She commanded.

On her command cops marched forward and took away all five of the culprits.

"Miss Pearl! What is this?" Vipul.

"Mr. Mallaya!"

"You can't do this to me. You promised that you won't do anything to us."

"We gave you our shares."

"We never said we won't do anything after buying your shares." Rishi said and added his explanation. "We only said don't regret. It's up to your own mind. What kind of outcome do you bring..."

"..." Everyone left speechless. Before those five could say anything they were already dragged away from the office.

"Sigh…" Pearl sighed with tiredness and stood up from her chair.

Looking at everyone she concluded. "I think for today we should conclude our meeting with their dismissal. And if anyone has anything to say about my dismissal, we can vote again… But this time, I can't guarantee you about my hard feelings because that kinda matters… The choice is yours."

Of course, no one dared to say a word against her. Ajay Mallaya was highly satisfied with the result.

With a grin, he was about to stand up too when another group of white coat people came in. However this time it wasn't called by Rishi or by anyone.

"Doctors? Who is injured?" Rishi confusedly looked around.

Pearl suspiciously looked at her secretary.

On that glance, Rishi immediately raised both of his hands. "I didn't hurt anyone. Swear to god!"

Pearl's brow loosened with his answer.

"How can I help you?" Ajay asked and stood up to attend those group of doctors.

"We are here for Miss Pearl Sen." One of the doctors replied.

"Pearl?... What happened to her?" Rishi hurriedly asked and came in front of Pearl to check on her.

"What happened to you?" Ajay concernedly asked too.

Because of Rishi, Ajay's view was also blocked. Watching him overreact, Pearl's hand lifts up to smash the back of his head.

Rishi easily dodged it. "Tell me! What happened?" He almost yelled this time.

Knowing that he won't back off easily she finally answered. "I didn't call him."

"Huh? What did you say?"

"Do not make me repeat." She warned him seriously.

Ajay standing beside them couldn't help but squinted his eyes at their interaction. He was about to ask her and the doctor the question when he got a new message. Looking down at his phone screen he read the message.

'Sir, your granddaughter has an injury on her back head. Let my doctor's inspect and treat her properly for now. And then send her to the hospital directly.'

The moment Ajay read it, he instantly walked behind Pearl before checking out for her injury.

Pearl tried to get away but Rishi held her in her place. "Don't move." Ajay commanded.

It wasn't hard for him to find that wound as the bandage was in white colour.

"What happened here? Why didn't you tell me that you had an accident?" He angrily asked.

Rishi immediately left her arms and walked to her back before finding that wound too. "It's recent. Most probably it must have happened last night." Rishi said with surety.
