He was stunned by her actions

He was shocked to see what happened today. He hadn't thought that Pearl was so prepared with her homework. For the board meeting when she came late, he almost thought that she wasn't coming at all.

However, her entrance told him to think about her aspects from there on. She just wanted everyone to know 'who is the master over there'. And their grandmaster is still capable, and she is also there, who holds the reign of their future.

With such thoughts, she excited him a little. It's been a while since he was a part of such a reality show.

But to be sure of positive results he had a backup option too, and had prepared himself to take the lead. When the result of voting came out, he almost called his people but then only he saw something which made him stop and believe her judgement.

Her face or silhouette.

The face he had seen just a few hours ago, last night. For once he couldn't believe in his eyes. Not in the world he ever thought of meeting her today.

Because the camera was only facing her back, Dhruv was very curious to see her face from the very start. On the other hand for Emmett , he ignored such detail but with those director's reactions to her entrance, it made him a little bit curious too.

When he saw her walking towards Mr. Mallaya he was finally able to see her half-face, which was still a little blurry to any naked eyes. And to give a result on that, Dhruv couldn't identify the girl either.

In the first instance, Emmett only finds her silhouette familiar as he wasn't interested in staring at her. However, something in him still made him gaze at her, and study her.

And in the next second, he finally remembered. "...Your angel." He murmured.

"Huh?" Dhruv, sitting on the couch watching the show on his laptop, confusedly looked up to him. "What did you say?" He asked.

Emmett shook his head and said nothing.

He finally remembered her and he was stunned by such coincidence. The one who saved them last night was standing in front of him.

After the accident, Dhruv tried his best to find the identity of his angel but couldn't do so.

Last night it was a nightmare for Dhruv. He sees the whole incident in a different light. For him, In the nick of time, he prayed to his god, and then his angel came to save him. For him, that girl is more like his guardian angel now.

Emmett was bewildered by such revelation and didn't even know what to think or from where to think. Seeing his saviour from last night, whom everyone called the angel was now acting as a devil to someone's life.

For people like Dhruv, it could be hard to even guess her character after today. Last night Pearl was in a pure white short dress and looked cute and totally female fatal. However, now in a black tight jumpsuit and a white short coat, she looked like a pure professional office woman who was ready to kill anyone who dared to defy her.

Today as she started speaking, I was very much attracted to him. He had met a number of women but no one was ever this confident and had such arrogance in front of so many people. Even when each and every single person was her elder and her enemy at that time.

Her savage comment was making him smile too. But her actions spoke louder than words.

She doesn't need to speak those professional words, nor does she need to do any sophisticated act.

Her actions and decisions were tougher to be ignored or to be taken lightly.

However her expression, her aura, her character, confuse him to the extent that he never has been before. He was curious about her.

Her performance really impressed him. Until now, she was only his teacher's granddaughter. But now he was seeing her in a different light. He has accepted her as his junior officially.

But what amused him the most was the fact that they were so close but never met each other.

When things started hyping and those directors started losing their temper, he immediately sent his guards to secure her.

Even he was shocked by her demand for shares selling to her. However, hearing about those files he couldn't help but smile. Those files showed how prepared she was from the very start. Even when no one knew about her existence, she was watching everyone's actions quietly.

The revelation about Navi was something new in the picture for him too. He didn't see Pearl coming out with an actual main culprit among those directors.

Seeing Navi attacking Pearl and her being frozen on her chair, his eyes darkened. He saw her fear but also saw her overcoming that fear in a second. And in the next second, she was threatening Navi without batting an eye. Again he was unsure of what she was thinking.

Hearing her answering every question asked by Navi, was admirable. Her getting her shipment back and starting her construction work without letting anyone know about it, was commendable.

She showed that even when she was in dire need, she didn't lose her calm and took the matter unhurriedly before revealing the truth to everyone. She had a full file of her enemy's crime, even then she was reasonable with her thoughts.

Not just that. The part where her secretary, Rishi, actually stole the contract Navi signed with Dhruv's subordinate was too much to handle.

Pearl's way of dealing with her problems was straightforward. Not thinking much about others' feelings, while making decisions is also a talent and hard to get. Her way was very fierce. In the end, calling the cops, she didn't forgive anyone. And adding to that, she earned trust from everyone, including Yohaan and Jonas.

However, watching her being reckless with her injury made him furious though. Her wound needed a full bandage with support of her forehead, but the only dressing she did was a small bandage. Calling Dhruv, he immediately asked him to send their personal doctor to SI to attend to that girl. Later he sends the message to his teacher too.
