A play girl

Rishi sitting on the side couch gave an awkward cough and interrupted the conversation. "This time I think Miss's boyfriend is serious about her, Sir."

"Serious? He is definitely after her money." Grandfather angrily shouted again.

Pearl almost rolled her eyes speechlessly. Rishi also felt those words were wrong. The one Pearl is dating is no one ordinary.

In fact whoever Pearl has dated before was never an ordinary person. And this one? A new CEO of Green enterprises? Not at all.

"Sir, I think you are misunderstanding something here."

"I am not misunderstanding anything. Even if he has one company under him, Pearl has two!"

"But sir, that person actually went all the way with Miss."

"What about diving? He is afraid of water? Did he agree to that? No? He didn't? Don't say that serious word to those guys again."

"We went diving last week." Pearl replied.

It's not been more than two weeks since she started dating him. However compared to any relationship she had before, this one gave her the best hope of stability the most. She expected him to back off many times, but he didn't.

Although this relationship was unexpected and unplanned from the side, but, later Pearl approved it wholeheartedly. However, after so many days, her trust on stability for the relationship started wavering... again.

"..." Hearing that reply, Grandfather's mouth got shut. He had nothing else to say. Kicking the coffee table lightly he leaned back to the couch with a pout on his lips.

"Grandfather, please rest assured. You don't need to be worried about these things."

"Do you even let him do that? He has to be worried about you all the time." Her grandmother who was sitting beside her husband all this time, finally spoke with resentment clearly visible in her tone.

Pearl turned her head to face her. With a little bow, she apologized immediately. "Sorry grandmother."

"What relationship games do you play all the time? Are you playing an act of being a popular playgirl here? Changing boyfriends like clothes." Saba looked at her granddaughter with clear displeasure in her eyes.

Grandfather immediately held his wife's hand to calm her anger. "Honey it's okay. She is still young and desires love. And what playgirl? She never let those men even touch her hair. Let alone doing anything as a playgirl. Don't spoil our granddaughter's name."

"This weird state of mind of hers is only known by us. What about others in society? What would they think of her? What would they call our family? Her desire isn't wrong. But the way she behaves with them is wrong. If she doesn't want them then she shouldn't give them hope to begin with." She angrily complained.

"But they show their real face only at the end."

"So? Can't she even judge a man's character? It's something any woman can do. But she can't?"

"They are good in character. Just not that much devotee."

"Why don't you just stay as her spokesperson forever in her life? She doesn't have a mouth to speak or what?"

"She-" Grandfather was about to explain things to his wife again when Pearl interrupted him and said.

"It's okay grandfather. I was wrong."

Saba's eyes squinted with displeasure again. Massaging her forehead she ordered. "Call your boyfriend for dinner tomorrow."

Pearl didn't reply to that order for ten seconds straight. Grandmother also patiently waited for her reply. After ten seconds, Pearl finally affirmed. "Yes, Grandmother."

"Good now, heat your dinner again and have it on time."

"Hmm." Humming in reply, Pearl went back to have her dinner.

"Why are you calling her boyfriend?" Grandfather immediately asked.

"To tell him how many ex-boyfriends our granddaughter have?" She replied instantly.

Initially, he didn't understand the reason behind such a thing, however, seeing her wife's nonchalance look he immediately understands that it was definitely something good. After another couple of minutes, he finally clapped in approval.

"That's a nice way to kick someone away. Not bad honey. You do think about Pearl a lot."

"I just think about our name. Not just anyone can be our in-laws." She immediately cleared out her intention.

"Well, that's true too."

"Are you really calling Mr. Aman Green for dinner?" Rishi curiously looked at her boss.

"Hmm."

"But..."

"Hmm. He won't come." Pearl completed the rest of his sentence.

Rishi bobbed his head in agreement. He highly doubts that Aman would come. However, Pearl's confidence made him curious again.

"Why are you so sure?"

Pearl gave a playful look. "..."

"Because he doesn't like gathering?" Rishi asked with uncertainty.

"And?"

"He doesn't like you?"

"He does." Pearl said with certainty.

"But not to the point that he will give up his work for you twice in a week."

"Hmm." Pearl certifies his answer.

"So?"

"Might have another breakup." Rishi nodded his head in approval.

"I got it. This time your boyfriend isn't scared of heights or water. But he is way more devoted to his work and has no time for you. So a big cross."

Although Aman likes her a lot, but, Rishi can surely feel that Pearl is not included in his top ten priority even. Aman did give up his work for her once in a while but doing that twice for her, looks impossible to him.

However, when it comes to Pearl, she always gives her relationship and her people first priority. Whenever Aman asked her to meet, she did. No matter if she has a double workload after that meeting.

However, Rishi never felt the same vibe from Aman. It's only right for Pearl to break up if Aman can't even take out some time from his busy schedule to meet Pearl's Grandparents, there is no use in them being together.

"But will he agree?"

"Does he have a choice?"

Rishi licked his lower lips with unsureness. It's hard to say. But... "But I think, unlike any of your ex-boyfriends, Mr. Aman Green is a tough one? Not for once, did I see him smiling at anyone except you. I really think he is serious about you."

"Then he won't accept the breakup."

"And if that happens?" He asked.

"I will accept him." 'But he won't. He will never.'
