Chapter Three

Adrien woke up and was ready for the school. His father disappeared again. His bodyguard was wait him near the door. "Let's pick up Nino today."

The large iron door of the house opened into the street. They drove to Nino's house.

When Adrien arrived Nino's house, he got out the car for ringing the bell and calling him. When he looked the left, he saw an old man who is helpless. Old man started to talk slowly. His voice was trill. "I'm sorry to disturb you." Adrien looked him in curiously. Man continued. "I'm too old to go places myself. Could you take me to the Far East Primitive Health Center?"

Adrien looked at his bodyguard. He couldn't see him because he was interested in other things. It seems, Nino wasn't ready yet. "Do you know that 'Health Center'?" Old man was happy. "Yes." He directed the address to Adrien. It didn't really take long.

They arrived in front of the address. "Pardon me?" Adrien turned back. "Would you mind, can I have your name?" Adrien smiled. "Adrien." At the last moment, he remembered Nino. "Bye, sir!" he said in quickly.

Old man said "Bye Cat Noir," when he moved away. Then he quickly headed in a new direction.

He didn't like the view Adrien was facing. At the front of the house was his impatient friend and his angry bodyguard, who held the phone to his ear next to him. "Where have you been, dude, we've been wondering about you!" Adrien breathless

"No...matter!" said. His bodyguard looked at him seriously. They got in the car together and headed for school.

They got out of the car near the school and started walking with Nino. Until Nino saw Alya with straight long hair walking across the road. "That's all from me, dude. I'll continue with someone else!"

"Hey Nino! Wait..." Adrien stopped calling. He decided to continue on his own. But he noticed that his shoelaces had untied...

Dear Diary,

Everything was so ordinary this morning except for one thing: Adrien... But first, I want to talk about the old man who suddenly appeared in front of me and delayed me. That man told me he was very old and it would be very difficult for him to carry things when he walked long roads. I went to a shop selling Chinese Medicinal Plants for his health:

I bought two pieces of licorice, a bupleurum plant, two stalks of Chinese geven, ephedra sinica, Chinese Buttercup, and finally Chinese angel grass. I'm writing this by looking at the list next to me, or I would never have remembered it.

I ran into the store and bought everything he said. I put the bags in my bag so I could run more comfortably.

He took the bags out of my bag and thanked me. I greeted him, turned around, and he asked me my name when I was about to run. He smiled and said, "Marinette." I said. Then I ran without looking back.

But as I ran at the last speed, I realized that the zipper of my bag was not fully closed, my belongings almost fell off. I didn't even notice Adrien tying his laces on the side of the road as I turned around and ran on one side, dealing with my bag on the other. Of course, I got stuck in his shoe and fell on the floor with my bag.

I stood up in shame. It was a very embarrassing fall. I didn't even hold the hand he held out to help me. I wanted to escape. "I'm sorry. I was in a hurry. It won't happen again." I said, and as I was about to start running, he suddenly grabbed me by the wrist. "Calm down," he said with a smile. "We can go together."

At that moment, I was happy for two things: first, he invited me to go to school with him!

And second, of all the people in the class, he remembered me!

I didn't refuse his offer. "Your name is Marinette, right?" When he said it, I thought I was going to faint. I shook my head to mean yes. As if I didn't know, I said, "Yours must be Adrien." He responded in the same way.

When we entered the classroom, the teacher was in the classroom and said We were ten minutes late. As I turned my head towards the classroom, I saw Chloé and Alya watching us in amazement. "Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous!"

This high pitched voice must have belonged to Chloé.

Alya suddenly whispered to Nino and they both giggled. I couldn't take much more of this. "Sorry, it won't happen again." I smiled and left Adrien there and went to Alya. "What did you say, Why did you laugh? Say it quickly!" Alya shrugged both shoulders and said, "Never," she said. I was going to insist more that, but she said teacher continuing to the lesson, so I must be silent. I gave her a dark look.

In the evening, when I came from school, I wanted to tidying up my room. I always delayed it because I'm lazy. I was put my school bag middle of my room. I was going to put my fabrics to my wardrobe, but I stumbled on my unzipped bag and fell to the floor. My fabrics was everywhere! I hit my head with my two fingers and I grumbled myself. But I losed my attention because of the strange, black little box on my carpet. I ran that and researched.

The box has unusual symbol and I didn't ever see it. Also it didn't smell good. I opened the box with all of my courage. A long time, there was red, white and pink light beams. After that, I saw a little red creature with black spots...

"Hey, 'creature' was a rude word!" she said and started tuging Marinette's pen. "Alright, I fix it!" She crossed of that word and continued:

...I saw a little thing. "I'm Tikki, your kwami!"

"W...what!? A caramel?"

I was so scared. I was about throwed a box to her but she said me she give me grand powers, I must save Paris and a miracle...

She told me these powers gave me physical powers and a yoyo. I should catch the black butterflies with my yoyo. Also I can use this yoyo for going anywhere from anywhere and in a shield form. I was so excited for being Ladybug. And according to thing she told, I have a partner. We must keep secret our identities, for our security.

I looked the bright jewels that she gave me and put them in earring. But I noticed, she didn't tell me how can I transforme. "You should say 'Tikki, Spots On!'" I shook my head gladly. "Tikki, Spots On!" Then I turned my head to my tall dressing mirror. The costume was awesome. I was really a super hero with the mask on my face!
