The Heavenly Realm

For Tatsuya, everything is still blurry in his mind. It's hard for a human mind to accept everything in one single moment. But now, the Goddess will make it clear for him to understand the current situation once and for all.

"In the name of the Goddess of Light, Tatsuya, the summoned human, I hereby declare you as the Heavenly Realm's one and only knight to fight against the Demon Lord."

Even though in Elfiya's eyes, Tatsuya is surprisingly expressing a calm-like expression, but deep inside, he is trembling as he knew that the Goddess isn't joking about the errand that she bestowed upon him. Knowing that the Demon Lord is a serious problem to deal with, Tatsuya couldn't help it but to just question himself before responding to the Goddess's words. 'Why would a Godly being ask me for help? Is it too powerful until the Heavenly Realm can't deal with it? Am I the only one who got summoned by her?'. He must think it through before accepting the Goddess's errand.

"Why did you chose me? I think there are many other people who are more worthy of this errand. But firstly, why would the Heavenly Realm ask for a human's help? Don't you guys have a lot of Gods to begin with?"

Elfiya looks a bit hesitant to respond to Tatsuya's questions. This has made him realize that something bad happened to the Gods before he was summoned. He made a mistake. He shouldn't ask her that question.

"Well.... If you don't wanna answer, then its fine. I'm not desperate for an answer or anything."

"No, no.... I don't mind actually.... (Exhales) The truth is... We've lost contact with most of the Heavenly Realm's main pillars."

"Pillars?"

"Yes, pillars. There are a lot of Godly beings in the Heavenly Realm, but for the most powerful Gods, six in total, has an exception. We call them the main pillars. It consists of : Goddess of Light, Goddess of War, Goddess of Truth, Goddess of Rebellion, Goddess of Victory and Goddess of Vengeance."

"You said that you've lost contact with 'most' of the main pillars, so you mean that-"

"Yes, we've lost contact with Goddess of War, Rebellion, Victory and Vengeance, but don't worry, I do believe that they're still alive. They closed the neural consciousness link between us Gods..... I think... and because of these circumstances, the Heavenly Realm is losing its power to fight against the Demon Lord and keeping its forces at bay."

"Is this the first time the Heavenly Realm is fighting against them?"

"Nope. We have been fighting against them for the past 50,000 years, but due to the weakening of our powers and the awakening of a new Demon Lord recently, it has dealt a massive blow to the Heavenly Realm, making us lose 48% of our forces. Moreover, losing contact with four of our main pillars are going to increase that number drastically."

"Woah... I didn't expect it to be this dark..."

"But worry not! This is where you come in!"

"Excuse me!???"

"You will be given seven lives and six trials. But before that, you will need to prepare before we can descend you to your first trial."

"Wait-"

"No time to waste! I'll leave you with the Goddess of Truth after this. If you have any other questions, you may ask her!"

"But you still haven't-"

"Okay then! See you later!"
