Jiraya sighed as he looked at his godson sleeping like nothing happening in the world. Though the seals making sure he stay asleep says something else. It was his plan for Naruto Uzumaki be bound and a Yamanaka going into his mindscape to see the complete situation.
It was a complete violation of trust. But for the sake of Naruto's mental health Jiraya was willing to take the blame. And he felt truly grateful that he did something like that. Not only Naruto didn't see the village secrets but also they didn't had to try and control an out of control Nine tails vessel.
"What am I going to do with you kid, you are truly giving me more headache than your old man even gave." Jiraya said with a small smile looking at Naruto's peaceful sleeping face.
"What's the situation?" He asked looking at the Yamanaka clan elder who looked no older than 50.
"Jiraya sama, we tried our best to enter his mindscape. But due to the Kyubi's pressure it took us far more times to get the information we needed. As far as we can see he needs a parental figure in his life. It will also be better if he stays away from the village for some time." The Yamanaka elder respectfully replied. It was not everyday that you get a chance to gain favour from one of the legendary sanins. The only thing he had to do is to make the entire thing a secret, not that something new for him. He would have agreed to put suggestions if Jiraya asked him.
"Kid you suffered a lot for the village." Jiraya whispered putting a hand on Naruto's head.
Naruto as the nine tails vessel had to suffer because of the third Hokage's foolish plan. Jiraya learned quite a bit from the acquaintances in the village. He had to admit his teacher might have gone senile before his death.
And now that he was dead all the problem were on the shoulders of the new generation. He stopped himself from snorting thinking about the fact that Kakashi had to sent Asuma out only so no one blinded by revenge didn't try and kill him... or try to. The entire Sarutobi clan was busy guarding themselves instead of trying to find the culprit who did it all.
"It's time for you to wake up kid." Jiraya said as he started to go through one after another hand seals.
"Fuin release." With that slowly the inks on Naruto's body started to dissipate. From his arms to his neck all of them vanished except the seals on his stomach.
"Hey, hey, wake up kid. We have a long way to go." Jiraya said poking Naruto on his cheek. Not that anyone there to see the scene, the Yamanaka elder had left after his report. Naruto only scrunched his face a little, then ignored Jiraya while trying to sleep more comfortably.
Jiraya raised one of his eyebrows and thought that he should just throw a bucket of water to wake up the lazy brat. He again started to poke Naruto on his cheeks, this time a little harder.
"Let me sleep another five minutes." Naruto mumbled in his sleep trying to sleep. This time Jiraya felt annoyed his eyebrows started to twitch showing his annoyance.
"Brat, if you don't wake up I am going to use water jutsu on you." Jiraya said as the last warning for Naruto.
"AHHH! What happed? Where's the water come from?" Naruto Uzumaki woke up after days fully drenched in water head to toe, looking around to see who where the water came from. Only thing he found was Jiraya with a shit eating grin.
"YOU!" Jiraya ignored Naruto's shout and pointing finger at him. "You pervy old man! Why did you wake me up like that?!" Naruto asked pointing finger at Jiraya.
"I don't have all day, kid. And you were not waking up." Jiraya said smiling. "Besides I did you a favour, you will not have to shower today." He ignored Naruto's shout of protest.
"We will be out for week. Pack your bags for a week long mission."
"What for? And I have a team to go to mission." Naruto looked at him with some confusion.
"Don't worry about that. Your teammate Sasuke will also be coming with us. After all it's hokage's order after all." It took more than few seconds for Naruto to get that there was another Hokage.
"....New hokage?" He asked in confusion.
"Yes, your jonin sensei Kakashi Hatake is now the new acting Hokage." Jiraya said waiting to see the shocked outburst from Naruto.
"WHAT! HOW DID KAKASHI SENSEI BECOME THE NEW HOKAGE?!" And he was not disappointed seeing the biggest outburst from Naruto whose eyes were filled with shock.
"There was no one else with better qualification for the hat and I didn't wanted to get it." Jiraya said patiently waiting for Naruto's questioning to end.
"What do you mean you rejected the hat?" This time Naruto genuinely asked looking confused. Even with all things happend to him he couldn't think of anyone rejecting the seat of the Hokage.
"Kid, it's not that I hate the job. It's just that Kakashi could be a far better Hokage than me." Naruto looked thoughtful for a moment and then nodded. Jiraya felt a little offended that the brat thinking bad about him and he was not fit for the job, but decided to let the matter rest.
"So, what was the mission you were talking about?" Naruto asked looking at Jiraya.
"Nothing more a search mission. Just come to the main gate after packing for a week long outside the village." Jiraya said deciding to say goodbye after all he only had a week worth of time.
WhIle Jiraya left Naruto with thoughtful face Sasuke was busy getting ready. He had just gotten a mission scroll from his Jonin sensei and the Hokage. His mission was to gain information on Senju Tsunade and protecting Naruto while in the mission. The mission ranking was an A but could go up depending on the situation. It also mentioned to stay close to Jiraya and not get away from him for their safety.
'I didn't expect to go to Tsunade mission.' Sasuke thought to himself. He would have expected there to be no Tsunade mission. At the same time he would also have to be ready at the fact that his meeting with Tsunade could come out, not that something big but it would make sure that Jiraya would be a little wary of him.
Anko had left him with his things and all the seals unlocked. Even the ninjas guarding him left after Anko left. In a way it showed the trust the Hokage had on him.
"So you are awake kid." He looked at a old man with very strong chakra, Jiraya of the Sanin. Even if Jiraya was standing in front of him he only vaguely felt his chakra if he was not concentrating on sensing his surroundings.
"You already got your mission. Pack your things and meet at the main gate." Jiraya left leaving Sasuke with a thoughtful look.

Sasuke uchiha walked through his clan land feeling satisfied. Two of the people who were the reason Uchiha clan had gotten destroyed were no longer in the picture, one in his palm for him to use. He would make sure to use Danzo to further his plans.
'I wonder what plans Jiraya has to try and get Tsunade back. Not to mention there's a very high chance that Kakashi will be the new fifth Hokage.'
Sasuke started to make hand seals. And with puff of smoke a ninja cat appeared in front of him. Sasuke tossed a scroll to it.
"Here is the full payment, keep up the work." The cat just gave him a salute and with another puff of smoke it vanished from the spot.
"Now I just have to give it some time before I start with the next stage of the plan." He muttered to himself entering his house. As much as he could guess there were no people who entered his house in his absence, not that there were something important to steal. Yes, even the 10 million Ryo in the bedroom was nothing more than a drop in a bucket for him.
Sasuke started to gather the things he could need for the mission and even packed an extra thousands paper bombs and flash bombs just in case, afterall he was not 100% sure that Itachi would not attack their team in the mission. And he would rather have his EMS a secret than tell it to people like Jiraya.
He decided to take the Kusanagi sword with him instead of the fake. As far as he could tell only someone who used a Kusanagi sword could tell the difference between the two... in case of appearance he was talking about. There is sky and earth differences between the two when comes to sharpness and durability.
Even though he had all the things packed he checked them to make sure what he had were not tampered with. He changed the foods for the journey as well as sharpen few Kunai. All this took him almost an hour. As for why he was not in a hurry it was because in his mission scroll it mentioned him to be at the the main gate in two hours.
He started to make hand seals. And with a puff of smoke a small hawk appered.
"Aw, finally. You summoned me again. Where are we going?" Hiro started to ask questions. The only time Sasuke summoned him in the past when he was training. And Hiro easily had gotten bored of it. So, this time Sasuke decided that he would summon the Hawk to go with him for the mission.
"This time it would be an A rank mission or higher. Stay with me and if fighting starts or your life in danger I will cancel the summoning." Sasuke said putting his backpack on. He would have put that on a sealing scroll if not for the fact that he could lose everything in it just by a small scratch on the sealing scroll.
"What! BUt I also want to join awesome cool ninja battle." Hiro protested trying to look strong... and failing at it with his chibi from.
"Let's go." Sasuke said completely ignoring Hiro's protest.
"You know how awesome I am. I can help you. Enemy ninjas will run by just looking at me." Hiro started to bable telling the advantages he could give him. Also showing prideful expression on his face.
"Here have some." Sasuke decided that the best way to keep Hiro's mouth shut would be to give him somethings to eat. While HIro started to enjoy Sasuke started to walk toward the main gate instead of roof hopping, As for why the village was still under lockdown and without emergency Roof hopping was not allowed.
Even then it didn't take him much long before he found the main gate in his sight. He could tell Naruto impatiently waiting for them. As for the white haired pervert he couldn't see.
"Finally! You know how long I have been waiting here for!" Sasuke zoned him out a little. As for Hiro he decided to pick a fight with Naruto.
"Hey Orange dumbass, stop shouting. Also we are early, it's look at the mission scroll." Well Hiro told about the mission scroll that should have stayed a secret.
"Hmm? What mission scroll, I didn't get one." Naruto asked looking a little confused.
"It's my mission. And the mission is to make sure that pervert and you don't get in trouble." Sasuke replied.
"What! I can take care of myself. And where the the pervy old man?" Naruto word were like the thing Jiraya waiting for.
"I AM HERE." Sasuke decided to ignore the All MIght reference and sighed mentally that he would have to stay with the old pervert.
"LEt's go. We have a long way to go." Jiraya said and started to walk towards the main gate to register at the same time giving a glance at the Hawk on Sasuke's shoulder.
