"If he's left, I will put an arrow through his neck," Beth said from the rear. From the tone of her voice, she meant it too.

"Ah, that's assuming he's taken the same route back, so we can actually catch sight of him," Nolan said.

"If he has, my arrow will do the talking," Swallow said, his voice silky soft.
