I sigh for the nth time as my heart starts to palpitate, my hands are starting to get cold, and I feel like I needed to urinate – even when I urinated just seconds ago.
“Are you sure they revised this properly? Why are the conditions still so bad?” I ask as Krystal stood behind me – equally as nervous as I was.
Today is the last negotiation for the partnership with Dean and my father didn’t know what else to do – he ended up getting me up for the job.
I’m guessing he’s actually given up on this project – for him to send me as the negotiator, he knows quite well how inexperienced I am.
“Krystal, pray to all the gods you can find – we need to seal this deal, or else we’ll be laughingstocks,” I desperately said as I read through the contract over and over again.
Krystal, on the other hand, followed what I said – seemingly blind, as she searched up for all the gods which she may pray from.
