"What did you just hear?"
Perhaps Cai Yiren was a bit anxious, her fingers digging into Bai Wei Yi's shoulder with force. Bai Wei Yi screamed in pain, slapping back: "You're hurting me!"
A child's slap can't hurt much, but it was enough to jolt Cai Yiren awake. She then realized her action and retracted her hand somewhat sheepishly: "I'm sorry, Wei Yi, my body isn't well, and I got a bit anxious."
Bai Wei Yi was still angry; he had been the unruly tyrant at home since he was little, with everyone revolving around him. Even though his sister was the one who had grabbed him, he swung his little fists and hit her again: "Who told you to be anxious! You hurt me to death!"
Cai's mother had to hold him to comfort him and even bribed him: "Later on, your sister will buy you the toy car you want, and Transformers too." After a whole lot of sweet talk, they finally managed to calm this little ancestor down.
Cai's mother asked again: "Did you hear anything just now?"
